Premier Predictions (Week 30)

My one day off this week so better get this published today :)

7 Games on Saturday and 3 on Sunday this week.
The league title is Chelsea's to lose as all the others seem to be handing it to them, so even if Hull pull of a shock win I expect the others to drop even more points.
City, Arsenal, Man U all face tricky games so this weeks predictions might not be straightforward?
Will West Ham finally reach 40 points they won't have a better chance this season against the current worst defenders in the league?
At the bottom weeks are running out for Leicester and they must pick up points this week.

Man City v West Brom
Aston Villa v Swansea
Newcastle v Arsenal
Southampton v Burnley
Stoke v C Palace
Tottenham v Leicester
West Ham v Sunderland
Liverpool v Man Utd
Hull v Chelsea
QPR v Everton

The NBTF prediction league is still really tight but Dave's 4th win gives him a virtual 2 game lead which might be enough? but 9 weeks to go and a lot can happen :)

Fantasy Football Update

Here's all the tables of interest in Fantasy Footie (as of 19/03/15).
FPL - Nothing better than Football league (5 teams)
TFF - NBTF League (41 players)
TFF - Ex Works league (22 players) the final Smoke Generators league :(
TFF - Champions league (5 players)

FPL - Son Gary still leading from Paul and I still haven't got to grips with it this year :(
TFF - Still having a good season myself to lead the blog league and briefly made the top 100 in the country last week, the league itself is in a respectable 39th.
TFF Work league - I'm looking good for yet another win, shame this will be the last time.
TFF Europe - Early days but only trailing Fantasy footie stalwart Rick by a few points, the league is suffering due to only having 5 players, as the position is based on the top 5 scores.
Still in with a small chance of some money in TFF, lying 17th in the Golden boot competition and 23rd in the One league. 10 transfers left in those teams so need to try and make some inspired gambles :)

Premier Predictions (Week 29)

This weeks games over 3 days with 6 on Saturday, 3 on Sunday and one on Monday.
Liverpool go to Swansea so expect a goal from Jonjo "Voldermort" Shelvey, he usually scores in one of the goals?
Hopefully Arsenal will be thinking about their Euro game or West Ham's "christmas decorations" season will carry on :(
Chelsea v Saints could be good, now I've dropped Pelle from all my fantasy teams he might just net a few goals?
Man City face a banana skin before their big game, so Meerkat Mourinho might still be smiling whatever his team do?

C Palace v QPR
Arsenal v West Ham
Leicester v Hull
Sunderland v Aston Villa
West Brom v Stoke
Burnley v Man City
Chelsea v Southampton
Everton v Newcastle
Man Utd v Tottenham
Swansea v Liverpool

Good luck all, don't worry if your predictions don't show up on Saturday as I'm working all day and probably won't be able to do the "approve" thing till I get home.

FA Cup 2015

I suppose we should be careful what we wish for?
It's been great having all the giant killings but the danger is you get left with a whole bunch of teams you wouldn't even bother watching on telly for free :(
The draw for the quarter finals hasn't helped as the only game I planned to watch was the United v Arsenal game, although I did catch the second half of Villa v Baggies which wasn't too bad.
It's a shame Liverpool weren't away to one of the lower teams as they should have enough to beat Blackburn at Anfield which draw permitting we will end up with Liverpool v Utd or Arsenal in the final in May ... yawn.

You have to wonder about Villa fans?
Team leading 2-0 cruising into the semi's and they invade the pitch risking an abandonment or possible expulsion from the tournament if something serious had happened.
I know wins and goals have been a rarity at Villa park but surely they should keep it under control a bit?
