  9. Wow, sadly I slept through most of the 2nd half but it was well and truly over by then, Early morning starts killing me :(
Amazing Germans, Abysmal Brazil .. looks like Chelsea did a great deal getting that figure for David Luiz as he was terrible along with the rest of the Brazil "defence".
I thought the Germans would have too much for Brazil but nobody could see that coming against a team with 11 players still on the pitch, the Brazil players played with no heart and are a disgrace to their nation.

... ooh suppose I should throw in a few Rio Ferdinand style cliches about Germany - the Germans were ruthless, efficient, methodical, like a machine, Brazil were terminated etc etc.
Hopefully Holland will make them look human on Sunday, or if it's the Argies they can carry on :)

Will update the table in the morning as I really should make it to bed for a few hours tonight :)

(I was almost asleep by the penalty shoot-out, myself...
...although, it is a muggy 34° C over here...)

  19. Thanks Biopunk :)
No footie on tonight I'm having withdrawal symptoms already, got all emotional watching a highlights package :)
It was a great world cup despite England's performance and the Germans winning, can't see that Russia and Qatar will put on such a great show, so I'm sad this one's over :(
