Back to business after another uninspiring International week.
7 games on Saturday, 2 on Sunday and one on Monday night.
Opening game sees Ranieri back as Watford sack another manager, probably worth a bet he won't be there at the end of the season.
Big game of the week is probably the West London derby?

Yeah, after the 1-1 nail-biter vs Mexico, the Jamaica one was abysmal.
DeleteIn this, Panama scored early after 5 minutes, but FC Bayern superstar and old Vancouver Whitecaps star Alphonse Davies equalized that before halftime. Then, with a not-quite-a-nutmeg of a defender, he put on the afterburners and streaked up the field, and put another one in. Things just feel into place after that.
I hate the CONCACAF for all the diving those countries regularly do, and their amount of visually disabled referees, so this was great payback after some early rough stuff from the losers.
Here's some highlights, hope they work:

A few gambles in there. Hoping Liverpools progress against Watford won't be hampered by the international break 🙄
Balancing Liverpool being much better than Watford against new manager 'bounce' and Alison missing.
DeleteAbsolutely no idea? :)
Forget about new manager bounce, Watford are awful can't string 2 passes together.
DeleteLiverpool will be disappointed if they don't get double figures.
Kellerher's only worry is falling asleep.
Wonder if Ranieri will last the day?
Sometimes better to have limited football knowledge, had put Leicester to win but remembered Man Utd hadn't lost away in years so went for a draw, and Liverpool winning was obvious unless you knew their keeper was out and Watford should have been trying for the new manager (obviously not).
ReplyDeleteAnyway scores to come, Bio and Gibbo have 4 so far with Gibbo getting the only 3 pointer so far.
Brentford battering Chelsea but somehow they hung on for the win.
ReplyDeleteDay 1 Scores (7 games)
Gibbo 7, Biopunk 5, Paulo 4, Lee 3, Paul 3, (Lawro 4, Tom 0)
Gibbo on a bit of roll in the last few weeks
Routine win for West Ham, closer than it should have been.
ReplyDeleteThe Newcastle new owner party looked good for 15 minutes then they ran out of steam, Bruce and Shelvey shouldn't make any plans for a holiday in Saudi Arabia.
Day 2 Scores (9 games)
Biopunk 8, Gibbo 7, Lee 4, Paulo 4, Paul 3, (Lawro 5, Tom 1)
All down to the last game
Forgot all about tonight's game, just remembered.
ReplyDeleteVery late equaliser for Arsenal.
Week 8 Final Scores (10 games)
Biopunk 9, Gibbo 7, Paulo 5, Lee 4, Paul 3, (Lawro 5, Tom 1)
Congrats to Biopunk :)
Early warning Arsenal back in Premier league action on Friday night
