Interesting Week, lots of questions to be answered...Can Chelsea get any worse, Can the Hammers new boys stop the City Train. Did the international break ruin our players. Does West Ham still want Slab 'Ed after his 2nd half cameo for England ;)

    1. Wouldn't have been too upset if Maguire had come to us, but 200k a week for a squad player doesn't really make sense. Zouma (when fit) is better player, and Aguerd is being looked at by City and Liverpool so not sure he would have been first choice?
But it seems he put the money over the chance to play, which is why I'm still dubious about Lingard coming back.

  6. A real game of two halves, Wolves should have been 3 or 4 up at half time.
Second half all Liverpool although they left it late to sew up the points.
Point for everyone, except Bio who hasn't appeared yet.

    1. Everyone knows that you don't press the nitro button until near the end of the race, Wolves decided 2nd min was the time. 😀 once we swapped the concrete boots at halftime, should have been more

  7. Won't pretend Man City didn't deserve that, but up until Moyes took Antonio off I thought we had a chance.
Haaland missing 2 sitters and some great last ditch tackling and an unlikely win might have still been on, Areola made some great saves but dithered for City's 2nd goal. Oh well easier games to come hopefully.

Elsewhere wins for Fulham and Brighton.
Late late win for Villa with goals in the 87th, 98th and 101st minutes. Tottenham with goals in the 98th and 100th minutes plus Sheffield Utd having a player sent off in the 104th minute!!
Over 20 minutes injury time played in each of those games ... getting silly.

    One to go today.

  8. Final game Newcastle scrape a win over Brentford.

Lots and lots of single points today, all 7 for Sutton, only my blind faith in West Ham cost me the same, Paul overestimating Man Utd and the only 3 pointer was from the unknown guest.

    Day 1 Scores (7 Games)
    Lee 6, Paul 6, Gibbo 5, Paulo 5, Biopunk -, (Sutton 7, Midas 6, Model 2)

  9. Won't be the most exciting Match of the Day tonight, just one goal for Arsenal
Chelsea's less than impressive start continues with a 0-0 draw at Bournemouth.

    Day 1 Scores (9 Games)
    Paul 9, Lee 7, Gibbo 6, Paulo 6, Biopunk -, (Sutton 9, Midas 7, Model 4)

Paul grabs a late 3 pointer again :(

  10. Final game was a 1-1 draw.
Forest's goal scored by forgotten man Hudson-Odoi who was an England player a few seasons back.
Also could be the bargain of the season costing Forest £3.5m which is nothing in current football terms.

Week 5 Final Scores (10 Games)
    Paul 9, Lee 7, Gibbo 6, Paulo 6, Biopunk -, (Sutton 9, Midas 8, Model 7)

Overall a draw between Paul and Chris Sutton
Sutton who missed out on tonights result after getting the first 9 (which saves me having to check if anyone had ever got all 10 results).

So it's congrats to Paul (again) :)

Big European week and Prem back on Saturday.
