ReplyDeleteHe's doing alright, better than most of the rubbish we've had recently (Grant and Zola), trouble is we still lack the finances to bring in better players and keep the good ones we had, so mid table should be seen as success, but as you know all clubs fans think they've got a divine right to win the league every season and unless you've got a billionaire owner it's unlikely to happen.
Lazy journo's still say we play long ball even though the stats prove that's a lie, and we've played some nice football this season without getting the rewards.
Sadly we are still about 4-5 players short of having a really good team, Reid's injury showed how vital he is on Saturday and although Carroll did well when he was fit last year I reckon we need another couple of strikers. Big Sam loves Nolan and he's a good captain but he's been a liability this season and if he doesn't improve soon he has to be left out.
