In a rush...need to get to Ikea :(
Most of these look like 'trap door' fixtures. Apart from Chelski and the Manx, all could go either way.
Hopefully Home advantage shall prevail ;)

  6. No one really "needs" to go to Ikea :)

  8. Wow what a start, how many Liverpool players have to be offside before it's offside?
    15 mins 3-0 should have been 5!!

  9. Day 1 Scores
    Paul 6, Lee 4, Longy 4, Biopunk 3, Paulo 3, Gobshyte 2

Good wins for West Ham, Liverpool, Chelsea, Palace, Hull and Swansea.and a great draw for Norwich.
Liverpool mighty impressive in the first 20 mins Arsenal lucky to keep it down to 5, Nolan has suddenly remembered he's a half decent player after a season of being a passenger, Hazard grabs a hat-trick against Newcastle who must be grateful they've probably got enough points to stay up already.

2 games left and still 5 of us in with a shout :)

Just seen Adel Taarabt score a cracker for Milan, can't be the same person can it? :)

Rubbish scores all round but Paul was slightly less rubbish :)
    Congrats Paul :)

Don't forget your midweek predictions fellas.

    1. And there was you, poo-pooing Paul's "Rushed Ikea Method" for predictions. Typical! ;)

Pretty much the Ikea method again, not sure if it works as well if you don't actually go though ;)
If you look at my predictions vs scores last week, there was an air of genius about my choices...less thinking, more instinct. Week 26 is a dog of a fixture list...Cardiff - Villa...who cares :) Will put an end to West Ham's hopes by predicting a win. Liverpool away to Fulham...Can hear the Bus reversing sound already. Good luck everyone
    Paul

  16. West Ham are usually doomed if me or Longy predict a win, I'm hoping to help our cause by predicting draws every week, losing points here is a price worth paying :)

    Cardiff v Aston Villa 1-3
    Hull v Southampton 0-2
    West Ham v Norwich 0-0
West Brom v Chelsea 2-3 (last minute penalty)

    Arsenal v Man Utd 2-4
    Everton v C Palace 1-1
    Man City v Sunderland 3-0
    Newcastle v Tottenham 1-2
    Stoke v Swansea 2-1
    Fulham v Liverpool 1-3

Can't believe I've gone for a Man U win, but it's that time of year when the wheels usually fall off for Arsenal.

  17. Damn convinced I had 2-0 :(

  18. Good start Paul 7 from 9, still a chance of another point depending on how much "Jose time" they add on :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. 8 minutes Jose time and they still haven't scored, this could go on all night?

  20. Should be pleased with a draw really, stops Chelsea creating daylight at the top.

Good start Paul, Lousy start for me .... but I don't care :D
Woo Hoo, top half of the table .. amazing :)

  22. Why do they put the sign out box where the post box should be :(

What I tried to post earlier was 2 games off already and the Stoke one in doubt, so chances of catching Paul are getting smaller :(

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well I was watching the Arsenal v Man U game but it was so exciting that I've only just woken up :)

    Week 26 Final scores
    Paul 8, Biopunk 4, Gobshyte 4, Longy 4, Paulo 4, Lee 3

Double week and a double win for Paul, congrats :)

Odd week for the scores with 3 pointers accounting for 18 of the 27 points scored meaning 45 of 60 predictions made got zero points. BBC prediction expert Lawrenson only got 3 points as well :)

Back next week as it's Cup time again, next games Saturday 22nd
