Premier Predictions (Week 33)

First off an apology, this blog was supposed to have lots of footie related stuff but the only thing I seem to have time for is the predictions at the moment.
Luckily that is the one thing that keeps me coming back every week stopping this blog going the same way as most of my other blogs.
I will try harder :)

On with the matter in hand, here's this weeks selection 7 games on Saturday, 2 on Sunday and the Monday game features Sunderland again.

Man City v Southampton
Aston Villa v Fulham
Cardiff v C Palace
Hull v Swansea
Newcastle v Man Utd
Norwich v West Brom
Chelsea v Stoke
Everton v Arsenal
West Ham v Liverpool
Tottenham v Sunderland

Only 6 weeks left so mathematically anyone can still win, Gobby is in form and could take the lead this week, or will last years champ come flying through from the back of the field?

Good luck all :)

  3. Things can change Longy and there is still a chance of a dramatic last week like last season in this comp.
Still dreaming of Chelsea blowing it and finishing 4th (very unlikely) and Man U winning the Champions league (even more unlikely) and nicking the last CL spot, sorry but would just love to see Jose in meltdown :)

“…mathematically anyone can still win…” - Lee NBTF, the Les Dawson of Footy blogs

I’m betting Chelsea bonk out into third place and City take it while Paulo pips Gobby.

  6. I'm hoping my predictions for the rest of the season don't come good, because Liverpool could pip City by a point and I don't think I could bear them winning the Premiership (sorry Paul).
I know quite a few Liverpool fans and they are unbearable when the scouses do well :(
As for the NBTF title it could be anyone, Gobby's flying at the moment, Paulo's having a bad few weeks after looking good most of the season, I never rule out Longy and who knows I might finally grab a win after 3 years of being runner up :)

  7. Don't panic Gobby and Paul if your posts don't show up straight away, I'm working all day tomorrow and might not get a chance to do the moderator thing :)

  10. I predict that I'll be leading by the end of Saturday and have it cruelly snatched away on Sunday. Hopfully not by Lee on the West Ham - Liverpool result though ;)

  11. All very even so far, none of us went for Fulham, Hull or West Brom and no 3 pointers.
    Day 1 Scores
    Lee 4, Longy 4, Paul 4, Biopunk 3, Gobshyte 3, Paulo 3

  12. None of us really expected Arsenal's season to collapse as much as it has, point for Bio and Paulo who both went for a 2-1. Really tight now and guessing I won't get 3 points from the next match :)

    2 Games to go
    Biopunk 4, Lee 4, Longy 4, Paul 4, Paulo 4, Gobshyte 3

  13. Wow!! never thought I'd ever see a refereeing decision go against Liverpool when they were playing us.
They've probably sent for Clattenburg to do the second half :)

    GOAL !!!!!

  14. Referee obviously got his orders at half time :(

    Day 2 Scores
    Biopunk 5, Longy 5, Paul 5, Gobshyte 4, Lee 4, Paulo 4

  15. Wow, always knew that would be a tough game. Referee's are getting worse. the amazing thing, was the replay on the 100ft screen behind him, as he over-ruled the linesman. Look into my eyes, only into my eyes, "he dropped it". Ray Winston, Andy Carroll to score next Goal, Bet in play lol

  16. Ha ha :)
Can't believe Carroll didn't get an assist :)

  17. Didn't expect that thrashing, would that have happened if Di Canio was still in charge :)

    Day 3 Final Scores
    Longy 6, Paul 6, Biopunk 5, Gobshyte 5, Lee 5, Paulo 4
Not a single correct score by any of us, but congrats to Longy and Paul for claiming 6/10 and a share of the win :)
