Premier Predictions (Week 33)

Nearly squeaky bum time, 6 weeks left and Paulo's win last week keeps everyone interested :)
Due to the FA Cup semi's this week there are only 7 Premier league games, so I've padded it out with both of those games bringing it up to 9, 6 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday.
Apart from the Semi's there is one real big game with in-form Man U going to Chelsea, if Chelsea avoid defeat in their next 2 games it's probably the title, if they lose both it could be a great end to the season :)

C Palace v West Brom
Everton v Burnley
Leicester v Swansea
Stoke v Southampton
Arsenal v Reading (FAC)
Chelsea v Man Utd

Man City v West Ham
A Villa v Liverpool (FAC)
Newcastle v Tottenham

Good Luck All :)

Edit: Cup games - What the final score is at 90/120 (if needed).
No points if it goes to penalties unless you went for a draw.

  2. Bugger!!!, I always forget when I include cup games how complicated it can get :(

I'll stick by the previous ruling ;) of what the final score is at 90 mins or 120 if needed.
So if someone says 2-1 to Liverpool and it's 0-0 at 90 mins but ends up 2-1 at 120 they will get 3 points.
No points if it goes to penalties unless you went for a draw. Them's the rules :)

  5. As it's must win time, I'm going to do something unforgivable and predict a loss for the Hammers ... but I'm usually wrong :)

    Everton v Burnley 2-1
    Leicester v Swansea 3-2
    Stoke v Southampton 1-2
    Arsenal v Reading (FAC) 3-1

  6. Just checked the Ref for the Chelsea game, expected it to be Martin Atkinson like it usually is when Chelsea need a win, but then realised he fluffed his lines in Chelsea's game with Burnley a few weeks back so Mourinho probably doesn't trust him to do as he's told.
Mike Dean seems an odd choice (or good choice for the neutral) as he seems to have given some really bad decisions to both of these teams this season :)

  13. Not sure how Chelsea scraped a win there? Cup game into extra time with Reading giving a good go.

  14. I think Chelsea won because they scored a goal and Man U didn't :) Who gives a flying fuck if they had 80% possession ect. Tis goals that count laddy

Great week for Paul, best score of the season and finally overhauling Dave for the lead with only 5 weeks left .... shame about your team letting you down, but I got 3 points from that one :)

    So congrats to Paul :)
Good comeback by Dave today but not quite enough.
12 Game week coming up, so stay tuned :)

    1. Yep, a happy and sad day for me. Good to be at the top of the table. On the Liverpool game, didn't look like we really deserved to win :( can't understand why we played Gerrard, we have done ok without him in the last ten games. Looks like Villa players are worth a shot in fantasy football for the last games of the season ;)
