Premier Predictions (Week 35)

Four Weeks left and the Prediction league is still wide open, although the 4 of us on only 2 wins need to win 3 of the last 4 :(

Big game this week is probably Villa v Everton, Villa have suddenly dropped into the mix and Everton showed last week that they haven't given up yet.
Leicester, QPR and Burnley all have games against teams that are thinking about their summer holidays so it could be an interesting last few weeks at the bottom.
Chelsea should wrap up the league on Sunday before Arsenal play on Monday, so Hull might get an easier game?
7 Games on Saturday, 2 on Sunday, 1 on Monday.

Leicester v Newcastle
Aston Villa v Everton
Liverpool v QPR
Sunderland v Southampton
Swansea v Stoke
West Ham v Burnley
Man Utd v West Brom
Chelsea v C Palace
Tottenham v Man City
Hull v Arsenal

Good luck all :)

  9. Paulo, I was watching last weeks early BT game and Moss was once again the ref which made me check that site again, as I love a good conspiracy theory :)
Watched the latest Nigel Pearson interview, starting to love that guy :) he's gotta get himself an acting career as a psycho crime boss, as he would scare me to death haha :)

  10. ** Biopunk and Paulo **, just checked your predictions and you've both missed a game?
Bio the Leicester v Newcastle game
Paulo the Man U v WBA game

Talking about teams trying to avoid the Thursday night cup, I've read that as it stands West Ham will qualify next season through the Fair Play league!!
The top 3 cleanest Euro leagues get an extra place for the cleanest team in each one, The Hammers have the best record in England at the moment and England are rated 3rd in Europe.
Something else to worry about :)

  14. Thanks Paul, enjoy Lakeside :)
Just missing Paulo's Man U prediction, but I guess he's on his way to Upton Park?

  15. Newcastle self destructing, Leicester on a roll.
Longy also on a roll 3 points for him, 1 point for the rest of us except Bio.

  16. Lots of goals, lots of red cards, not many points
Day 1 Scores (7 Games, 3 to go)
    Gobshyte 6, Lee 4, Longy 4, Paul 4, Biopunk 3, Dave 3, John 3, Paulo 1, (Lawro 4)

  17. Point for everyone from the Chelsea game, was hoping Chelsea didn't get a second because I was sure I'd gone for 1-0 ... then I checked :(

  18. Day 2 Scores (9 Games, 1 To Go)
    Gobshyte 7, John 7, Lee 6, Longy 6, Paul 5, Biopunk 5, Dave 4, Paulo 3, (Lawro 6)
Very tight, and lots of different combinations meaning only Bio and Paulo are out so far.

    1. Don't be sad Bio :)
Still a good week for a Chelsea fan, and I'm hoping you get 3 points here tonight (because that means I'll get 3 points) hehe

  19. At half time I thought it's a Gobby win as Arsenal are cruising 3-0 and would probably go on to get more, the only danger was if it finished 3-1which is what Paul went for :)

    Final Scores Week 35
    Gobshyte 8, Paul 8, John 7, Lee 7, Biopunk 6, Longy 6, Dave 4, Paulo 4, (Lawro 6)
So it's a draw, congrats to Gobshyte and Paul :)

All very tight but another step closer for Paul :)
Myself, Gobby, Paulo and John need to win all of the next 3 weeks to take it.
Biopunk and Longy need at least 2 wins without Paul and Dave winning.
Dave is in the best position to challenge, but at least we still have a chance of it going to the last week :)
