Week 18 done and dusted, more than a few shocks :)
ReplyDeleteArsenal got thrashed by the Saints, Mike Dean rescued a point for Villa, Leicester didn't score, Liverpool won, Man Utd lost again and Vincent Kompany got injured again.
Week 18 Final Scores
Paul 8, Longy 7, John 5, Lee 5, Biopunk 3, Paulo 3, (Lawro 7)
The shocks continue as Paulo loses after 3 wins, and Paul wins for the first time this season :0
Congrats Paul :)
Week 19 Starts on Monday, still need scores from Me, Paulo and Paul
Well glad thatmonkey is off my back and normal service is resumed! Why do all teams get their form back just before they play West Ham?
ReplyDeleteWeek 19
Palace 2 Swansea 0
Everton 1 Stoke 3
Norwich 1 villa 0
Watford 2 Spurs 1
Wba 0 Newcastle 0
Arsenal 2 Bournemouth 1
Man Utd 0 Chelsea 1
West Ham 3 saints 1
Leicester 1 man city 1
Sunderland 0 liverpool 2
Must have been the weight of your bet that messed me up lee lol
Cheers
Paulo
Well that's probably true about the bet :( although a full set of correct scores was 11 billion to one!! even a 1p bet paid £110 million if it came in (shame most online bookies have a 1 million limit). But I did also waste another 45p doing doubles, so I'm really gutted :)
ReplyDeleteI reckon Mike Dean should be a few quid better off after that performance, unless he just really hates West Ham :(
Did these last week but didn't post them, think I'll stick with them although serious doubts about the Arsenal game?
ReplyDeleteWeek 19 - 28/12/15 to 30/12/15
C Palace v Swansea 2-0
Everton v Stoke 2-1
Norwich v Aston Villa 1-0
Watford v Tottenham 2-2
West Brom v Newcastle 1-1
Arsenal v Bournemouth 3-0
Man Utd v Chelsea 1-1
West Ham v Southampton 1-1
Leicester v Man City 1-2
Sunderland v Liverpool 1-1
C Palace v Swansea 1-0
ReplyDeleteEverton v Stoke 1-0

West Brom v Newcastle 1-0
Arsenal v Bournemouth 2-1
Man Utd v Chelsea 0-2
West Ham v Southampton 1-1
Leicester v Man City 2-1
Sunderland v Liverpool 0-2
Changed my 1-0 to ManU to 0-2 to Chelski, think chelsea may have already hit rock bottom, fortunately ManU are not there yet, they have a few more losses to go ;)
Week 19 Half way through (5 Games)
ReplyDeleteJohn 5, Paul 4, Biopunk 2, Paulo 2m Lee 1, Longy 0, (Lawro 8)
Just watching United v Chelsea, cracking game so far despite no goals?
Worrying for United that Martin Atkinson is ref, as he has a history of giving penalties and offside goals for Chelsea in this fixture :(
Week 19 (8 Games)
ReplyDeleteJohn 8, Paul 5, Biopunk 4, Paulo 4, Lee 3, Longy 2, (Lawro 12)
Good day for John and especially Lawrenson who could have done better if he didn't hate West Ham so much :)
(According to him we would be bottom 3 with just 2 wins?)
Atkinson did his bit by totally missing Willian's blatant handball in the area? so 0-0 in that one but better by both teams.
Week 19 - Day 2 (9 Games)
ReplyDeleteJohn 8, Paul 5, Paulo 5, Biopunk 4, Lee 3, Longy 3, (Lawro 12)
Another bad scoring week so far, John wins unless it's 2-0 to Liverpool tomorrow which would mean a 3 way tie at the top?
Not a great week for any of us (except John) as we are all thrashed by the World's worst Prediction "expert"? :)
ReplyDeleteWeek 19 Final Scores
John 8, Paul 6, Paulo 6, Biopunk 5, Longy 4, Lee 3, (Lawro 13)
For the purposes of this competition it's a win for John with just 8 points, as we manage just 2 correct scores between us.
So congrats to John :)
The season is now half way and the prediction comp is still tight :)
Week 20's games are here, got Longy and John's already so just need the rest before Saturday's 8 games (first kick off 12:45 where hopefully tonight's win isn't a sign of a good run for Liverpool haha).
If Antonio had scored at the end it would have been me! Oh well if my aunts was a man she would be my uncle
ReplyDeleteWest Ham 2 Liverpool 1
Arsenal 2 Newcastle 0
Leicester 1 Bournemouth 1
Man Utd 1 Swansea 1
Norwich 1 saints 1
Sunderland 0 villa 0
Wba 1 Stoke 1
Watford 1 man city 2
Palace 2 Chelsea 1
Everton 1 Spurs 2
Happy new year everyone
Cheers
Paulo
Happy New Year All!
ReplyDeleteWest Ham v Liverpool 2-1
Arsenal v Newcastle 2-0
Leicester v Bournemouth 3-1
Man Utd v Swansea 2-1
Norwich v Southampton 2-2
Sunderland v Aston Villa 0-1
West Brom v Stoke 1-2
Watford v Man City 0-0
C Palace v Chelsea 2-1
Everton v Tottenham 0-1
The odds are there will be another bunch of weird results but I'll take a chance?
ReplyDeleteMuch as I expect the Hammers to do Liverpool tomorrow I don't want to put the mockers on it, so I'll go for a draw :)
Week 20
West Ham v Liverpool 1-1
Arsenal v Newcastle 4-1
Leicester v Bournemouth 2-0
Man Utd v Swansea 1-0
Norwich v Southampton 1-2
Sunderland v Aston Villa 2-1
West Brom v Stoke 0-2
Watford v Man City 2-3
C Palace v Chelsea 2-1
Everton v Tottenham 2-2
West Ham v Liverpool 1-3
ReplyDeleteArsenal v Newcastle 3-0
Leicester v Bournemouth 3-1
Man Utd v Swansea 1-0
Norwich v Southampton 1-1
Sunderland v Aston Villa 1-0
West Brom v Stoke 0-2
Watford v Man City 2-1
C Palace v Chelsea 2-2
Everton v Tottenham 1-2
Think the only thing to be sure of with a liverpool/Hammers meeting is that it shouldn't be 0-0. Hoping that our new manager can fix what Rodgers broke. We owe you some home humiliation after the drubbing we were dealt last time ;)
Feeling confident, especially as we've avoided getting Clattenburg :)
ReplyDeleteShame we're still missing a few players, but hoping for a big start.
Need a decent score this week in the predictions as I was in 3rd place (5 points off the lead) in the FISO league before Christmas, now down to 9th (20 points off the lead) :(
Job done, good result but maybe should have scored more but who cares we've beaten them yet again. Liverpool still looking very average, really need Sturridge fit as Benteke is no Andy Carroll :)
ReplyDelete3 Points for John, a point each for Bio and Paulo, nothing for me but I don't care :)
5 Correct scores today, 3 of them in the last game :)
ReplyDeleteJohn having a good run, shame Defoe scored that late goal cost me 2 points :(
Day 1 Scores (8 Games)
John 9, Paulo 6, Biopunk 5, Longy 5, Lee 4, Paul 3, (Lawro 5)
Who would have realised that Chelsea would improve so much now they've dumped the not so special one? :)
ReplyDeleteScores (9 Games)
John 9, Longy 6, Paulo 6, Biopunk 5, Lee 4, Paul 3, (Lawro 6)
Can safely say that the only highlight for me, from the Hammers/Liverpool match was seeing Payet come off the bench so that I could see what all the fuss was about. Can see why you have missed him. Liverpool were woeful...again. Think I would have better movement off the ball than Benteke :(
ReplyDeleteGood to have Payet back, shame Lanzini got injured again :(
ReplyDeleteAntonio still looks rough but improving every game, hopefully Reid will be back soon although they've done well without him.
Week 20 Final Scores
ReplyDeleteJohn 12, Longy 6, Paulo 6, Biopunk 5, Lee 5, Paul 3, (Lawro 6)
Congrats John, 2 on the trot :)
an impressive 3 correct scores + 3 results for your best score of the season.
