Premier Predictions (Week 27)

Games over 3 days again this week, 7 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday and the big one on Monday.
A small chance some of the chasing pack will make up some ground on Chelsea who should lose on Monday :)
Liverpool v Arsenal is very hard to call, Liverpool usually turn it on against the bigger sides and Arsenal usually fold but both need a win.
Tottenham should have a harder game this week, as Everton are on a good run but who knows?

Man Utd v Bournemouth
Leicester v Hull
Stoke v Middlesbrough
Swansea v Burnley
Watford v Southampton
West Brom v C Palace
Liverpool v Arsenal

Tottenham v Everton
Sunderland v Man City

West Ham v Chelsea

Good Luck All :)

    1. been through the news 5 times now, have we got Luis Suarez back and playing against Arsenal?

    2. As usual I expect to be totally wrong :) just imagining one of those games where Liverpool fly out of the blocks and Arsenal go to pieces and concede 3 in the first 10 minutes?
Of course it could be a classic Arsenal hit on the break win?
If I knew anything I'd be leading this, but obviously I'm not hahaha

Model has had a massive upgrade this week. She now covers all major leagues in Europe and provides analysis for some of the other match day markets i.e Goals overs/unders, Half-time/Full time, corners, cards etc. It's not going to improve her prediction skills though !!

Good luck everyone, even Bio, don't like to see Bio-degrade

    1. OOH!!! nasty :)
Well nobody is getting 3 points from the opening game, c'mon Bournemouth :)

    2. ...or the Liverpool v Arsenal one now either!

And thank you Paul, your support is much appreciated during this trying time.

  7. No Sanchez for Arsenal? but Wellbeck and Giroud up front could make it interesting :)
Can't believe I've got to cheer for Liverpool :(

  8. *****
Just seen that the Man City v Stoke game has been re-arranged for next Wednesday (sure that wasn't on the fixture list yesterday?).
I'm going to include it in next weeks predictions as there were only 8, but if anyone wants to predict it here go ahead :)

  9. Thought Arsenal might get something after a terrible first half without Sanchez, but the late offside goal killed them off.

    Day 1 Scores (7 Games)
    Lee 7, Biopunk 4, Longy 4, Paul 4, Paulo 1, (Lawro 5, Lawro's Guest 3, Paul's Model 2)
Now hoping the next 3 games get postponed :)

  10. Any of you cheering for Haye or Bellew?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Not really that bothered, Haye has had his chance and maybe should have retired.
Don't know too much about Bellew except he's a pumped up cruiserweight and that usually makes the difference.
If Haye is taking this seriously he should win (a Lee prediction) :)

      Delete
    2. and as usual a Lee prediction crashes :(
Didn't expect Haye to try and fight him one-legged :)

    3. Glad your prediction was wrong! :D

Both of them aren't fit to carry Joshua's spit-bucket.

      Delete
    4. Agreed Joshua looks a class above these two, I don't know if the mad gypsy Tyson Fury is ever coming back but I can see a Fury v Haye fight being promoted, which might be fun :)

    5. Saw a great comment "the best Scouser v One legger fight since Paul McCartney v Heather Mills" :)

    6. lol! That's terrible. I love it!

  11. Back to the footy, good end to the Tottenham Everton game with 3 late goals.
Keeps this weeks game interesting, now just hoping it doesn't finish 2-1 to City :)

  12. Shame City couldn't grab a 3rd, but on the plus side I get at least a draw this week after 18 defeats on the trot :)
Now I have to rely on the Hammers for the win????? C'mon you Irons :)

    Day 2 Scores (9 Games)
    Lee 9, Biopunk 6, Paul 6, PLongy 4, Paulo 2, (Lawro 9, Lawro's Guest 7, Paul's Model 7)

Bio needs a 2-1 Chelsea win, Paul need a 1-0 to Chelsea, I need anything else??

  13. YUUUUUUSSSSS! Lee denied!

    Thank you, Mr. Lanzini!

  14. Typical West Ham play most of the game like it's a pre-season warm up, then with a minute to go and me thinking well at least 2-0 gives me something to cheer about this week .... we go and score (sigh).

    ReplyDelete
  15. Was about to come on and congratulate you Lee but alas Bio has once again piled on the pressure :)

I had Chelsea to win the 1st half, so small consolation. Was also going to back West Ham +2 on the handicap, and thinking phew glad i didn't, only to find that you did in fact score in Fergie time. For you this must be Bitter Bitter lol

    ReplyDelete
  16. Can't remember how many times over the years I've been denied a win by a last minute goal in the final game, feel more deflated by that than West Ham's 92 minute non-performance at the moment :(

    Anyway .....
    Week 27 Final Scores
    Lee 9, Biopunk 9, Paul 7, Longy 5, Paulo 2, (Lawro 10, Lawro's Guest 7, Paul's Model 7)

So this weeks winner is Mark Lawrenson ... boo!!
Booby prizes go to Me and Biopunk, congrats to us ... yay

Don't forget week 28 starts early due to the re-arranged game on Wednesday.
