Premier Predictions (Week 36)

A normal week with 10 games spread over 3 days, 7 Saturday, 2 Sunday and a Monday night game.
The most important game is probably the South Coast derby, as Southampton really need to beat their neighbours and put pressure on Swansea in the late game at home to Chelsea.
Palace and Huddersfield both have winnable games meaning a Saints win and anything for Swansea puts West Ham and Brighton back in the mix?
At the top Man U should take advantage of Arsenal being in the middle of their European Semi Final tie, meaning it's just the fight for 3rd place.
Would be shocked if Liverpool or Tottenham dropped points this week, but Tottenham have the easier looking run in, so they could grab 3rd if Harry Kane manages to touch the ball (which he hasn't done much since his comeback from injury).

Liverpool v Stoke
Burnley v Brighton
Crystal Palace v Leicester
Huddersfield v Everton
Newcastle v WBA
Southampton v Bournemouth
Swansea v Chelsea

West Ham v Man City
Man Utd v Arsenal
Tottenham v Watford

Good Luck All :)

Paul has one hand on the virtual Trophy as both Me or Paulo need to win the last 3 rounds to pip him :(

    1. If those results come in you deserve to be a rich man :)
You're gonna have to bite the bullet and upgrade at some point, I've still got XP running on a laptop but don't connect to the net on that one.
Using Windows 7 on this computer which isn't too bad, much better than Vista which was rubbish.

    2. Looks like the Model has malfunctioned, just 10 single points from 27 games and 2 of those were Friday night matches already played?

Worried about City at home as they won at the Olympic 4-0 and 5-0 last year, just praying they've been partying hard since winning the title?
Hopefully Adrian will show why they don't need to make any stupid bid to keep Hart next season?

  7. Just found the game free on Sky One :)
Salah just missed a sitter, the pressure of my bet on him being the first goalscorer :(

    1. Wow this is so dull, almost wanting Stoke to score to liven it up?

    2. 6 minutes injury time? prolonging the agony.
Guess Klopp will ask for the sprinklers to be turned on now, as I guess the pitch must be too dry.

  8. Yawn!! One game down no points for anyone.

  9. Thanks Chelsea, another dull game but the result means Swansea are deep in the mire and Chelsea join the race for a top 4 finish.

    Day 1 Scores (7 Games)
    Lee 6, Paul 3, Biopunk 2, Paulo 2, Longy 1, (Lawro 4, Plan B 4, The Model 0)

  10. West Ham players score 3 goals in the first half (amazing), but we're losing 2-1 ... sigh!!!

  11. Totally outplayed :(
Man Utd vs Arsenal reserves up next.

  12. Grrr!! Fergie time winner for Paul's new favourites Man Utd :(

    Day 2 Scores (9 Games)
    Lee 8, Paul 7, Biopunk 4, Paulo 3, Longy 2, (Lawro 6, Plan B 5, The Model 2)

So a 2-0 Spuds win will give Paul the title, anything else and we go to the last 2 weeks (fingers crossed for a Watford goal) :)

    1. And the irony is that I said to the wife, Man U will score, with 6 mins left. I would have been more excited if I had remembered my 2-1 prediction. Although I was more disappointed with the odds lost on hypothetical bet. Thought the market had slipped away, but looks like you let me back in Lee ;)

    2. Just gutted that the small profit I made on results was wiped out by Mo Salah's failure to score on Saturday :(

  13. Like conceding 2 goals in injury time, gutted :(

Week 36 Final Scores (10 Games)
    Paul 10, Lee 9, Biopunk 5, Paulo 4, Longy 2, (Lawro 9, Plan B 6, The Model 3)

    Congrats Paul :)

I was looking forward to next weeks mega 16 game week, but it's all gone a bit flat now :(
