  8. Hard to believe this was the team that lacked any fight and was total rubbish less than a month ago against Wolves?
Old hands Zabaleta and Noble played out of their skins, new signings Diop, Balbuena and Fabianski showing the quality we paid for, and Rice showing why we need to get him on a long term contract.

Point each for the believers :)

No show so far for Gibbo (still time to predict)
Sadly looks like Longy has gone now :(

  10. High scoring week so far :)

    Latest Scores (8 Games)
    Lee 16, Paulo 13, Paul 12, Biopunk 5, Gibbo 5, (Lawro 17, Karl 7, Model 10)

    I have 8/8, Lawro and Paulo 7/8, Paul 6/8
Amazing that I have 16 and yet trail Lawro and could still finish 3rd!!!

At least I've rescued my betting account :) but gutted I bailed out of including West Ham and Leicester in the accumulator :(

Chelsea v Liverpool, Hazard brilliant but what a goal by Sturridge.

2 Games to go and the 18 point record is in danger.

  11. Day 2 Scores (9 Games)
    Lee 17, Paulo 14, Paul 12, Gibbo 6, Biopunk 5, (Lawro 17, Karl 8, Model 10)

Still not over Paulo could grab a draw, on the plus side I've got at least a draw so finally break the duck :)

  12. Well Done Lee, great score. Are you happy with your final prediction now that you are within touching distance of the record?

I'm slightly disappointed with my score being an advocate for the 2-0. Was the 18 point record achieved on a 10 game week?

    1. Week 37 2012/13 Season - 5 Correct scores, 3 single points and 2 blow outs.
All 5 players got 10+ points, Bio and Gobby got 11, Paulo and Longy 10.

Just gutted that after deciding to put bets on this week (which I haven't really done this season so far) I started with the 8 saturday games results then cancelled the Chelsea Liverpool game thinking that would let me down, then ruled out the West Ham and Leicester results as I assumed the bookies know something, So just covered the 5 remaining with a measly £5 bet.
No bottle!! should have been a couple of grand better off .... sigh :(

Just praying I can actually win this week :)

  13. Well played guys. Unlucky Lee, didn't see the game, but 87 pen is a harsh way to see it slip away. Will be glad to see Paulo back to normal, my season points record could be in danger at this rate ;)

  14. Sigh .. blub :(

Putting personal disappointment aside what a brilliant week.

Lawro gets an all time high of 20 points with 6 correct scores, after only managing 5 in the first 6 weeks. Although I'm gonna claim he don't count :)
Paulo gets his all time highest score.
Paul equals his all time highest score but only finishes 3rd (or 4th if you count Lawro).
I get a point for the first time this season ... small comfort.

Week 7 Final Scores (10 Games)
    Lee 17, Paulo 17, Paul 15, Biopunk 6, Gibbo 6, (Lawro 20, Karl 8, Model 11)

So this weeks winner is Lawro, Me and Paulo share a draw in the comp.
Congrats to Paulo and Me :)

  15. Paulo has 42 points in the last 3 weeks, after just 17 in the first 4? Big Improvement Paulo :)

Reminder: West Ham play Brighton on Friday night, so I will try to remember to post earlier than usual.
