ReplyDeleteChanged my mind, had 0-1, model says 1-1 on season form, 1-0 on recent, Cardiff do score at home, so lock 'em in
Paul
The history says West Ham are going to lose at Newcastle, but despite last weeks performance my gut feeling is we will turn it on tomorrow ... Andy Carroll might be back? :)

think the Hammers game is the hardest one to predict this week. Two unbelievable players in Arnautovic and Anderson, but still can't bring myself to put them down for the win. They are bet busters :)
DeleteCardiff 1 wolves 2
ReplyDeleteGood start for Paul, 3 for him, 1 for Ivan Drago and a blank for the rest of us.
ReplyDeleteI keep giving Wolves too much credit for a few decent results at the start of the season, they are looking more like relegation candidates in the last 6 games.
A bit of dreaming here :) West Ham have 8 very winnable games on the trot?
36 points by FA Cup 3rd round day should keep us up hehe :D
Woohoo, watched about 20 mins of first half, of the Cardiff game and thought I should have gone for my original 0-1. Didn't see the result until this morning :) Cardiff do generally score twice at home

Paul
Chicarito can't pass, can't shoot outside the box, wanders around watching the game, but give him a chance in the box and bang :)
ReplyDeleteOne bad foul in the 1st half which didn't rate a booking but somehow West Ham have 3 bookings and 1 for Newcastle, with this ref I expect at least one sending off?
Predicted 8 straight wins ... One down seven to go :)
ReplyDeleteTerrific performance with Diop, Rice, Anderson and Zabba all excellent and everyone else doing a great job, even Wilshere surviving 9 minutes without injury :)

Nobody went for the draw, who'd have thought Man Utd and the Saints would serve up an entertaining game? well in the first half at least :)

Paulo and Paul have gone for the same scores in the last 3 games, meaning sadly Paulo can't win.
Gibbo and myself have gone for 2 out of 3 the same, with only a 1-1 or 2-2 in the North London derby to separate us? Biopunk has gone for 3 unique scores so it's still all up in the air :)
I'm still in this???
DeleteWow.
I'll be happy just to trounce Dolph.
Great win for Arsenal, fluky Klopp time winner for Liverpool, Chelsea comfortable win.

Lawro's guest for the second set of games is Ross McDonald from the group 1975.
ReplyDeleteLiked Mark Hughes as a player, but couldn't stand him as a mahager so not really bothered that he's been sacked, although with him in charge Southampton would probably have filled one of the relegation spots?

ReplyDeleteGood shout on the City 2-1 Bio 😤
ReplyDeleteWatched the first half and 0-0 with Arnie off injured and Cardiff missing a penalty, went and sat with the missus and started watching Holby .... woke up 2 hours later and had missed the goals :(
ReplyDeleteGood win for Brighton despite going down to 10 and being outplayed, City looking pretty average for a change and Bournemouth stealing a win after being dominated by Huddersfield.

Some excellent games tonight, Man Utd v Arsenal was a proper game with mistakes and hard tackles.
ReplyDeleteTottenham win but Southampton were really unlucky, good comeback wins for Wolves and Liverpool reserves.
Charlie Austin's late goal made all the difference in our competition.
