Premier Predictions (Week 38)

Finally we get to the last week of season 2019/2020 πŸ˜€
Still a few things to sort out, relegation and Euro spots still up for grabs.
2 from Villa, Watford and Bournemouth will go down, all are away at teams with nothing to fight for, Bournemouth need a win and the other 2 to lose.
Goal difference might be the deciding factor?

The Champions league spots are down to 2 games, Man Utd need a draw to stay above Leicester, Chelsea need a point or a Man Utd win to guarantee top 4.
Awkward for Chelsea as Wolves need a win to make sure of a Europa league spot.
Other factors might change all this as Wolves and Man Utd are still in the Europa league this season, and if either win they will get the 4th Champions league spot even if they finish outside the top 4, and Arsenal can take the 3rd Europa league spot by winning the F.A Cup.

It's all very confusing!!

Thanks to everyone who has played along this season
Happy to say after 10 years of this I've finally won it πŸ†  Second place still up for grabs though.

Week 38 - 10 games - All Kick off at 4pm

Arsenal v Watford
Burnley v Brighton
Chelsea v Wolves
Crystal Palace v Tottenham
Everton v Bournemouth
Leicester v Man Utd
Man City v Norwich
Newcastle v Liverpool
Southampton v Sheff Utd
West Ham v Aston Villa

πŸ†
Just to complete everything for this season, the F.A Cup final is on the 1st August.
Title is still up for grabs all very close - Myself and Biopunk have 45 points each and I'm just ahead by virtue of having 1 more correct score, so all to play for (90 minute score only).

Arsenal v Chelsea

Good Luck All  😁

Hopefully back for next season whenever that is starting, might not be long?
This seasons European competitions start again on the 5th August through to 23rd August, so our remaining teams will be hoping for a break.
That was a long post  πŸ˜€

  4. Hard to predict what will happen in any of the games, some teams with nothing to play for and some teams might bottle it on the day?

    Arsenal v Watford 2-0
    Burnley v Brighton 2-0
    Chelsea v Wolves 2-3
    Crystal Palace v Tottenham 0-2
    Everton v Bournemouth 3-2
    Leicester v Man Utd 2-2
    Man City v Norwich 7-0
    Newcastle v Liverpool 2-3
    Southampton v Sheff Utd 2-1
West Ham v Aston Villa 2-2

F.A Cup, no idea? both teams can either be great or rubbish just depends which ones turn up on the day?
So just to be different I'll go with ...
    Arsenal v Chelsea 2-1

  6. A few shocks today, Man Utd and Chelsea take the last 2 Champions league spots.
Leicester and Tottenham get the Europa league positions, Wolves will get one if Chelsea win the F.A Cup (maybe they did a deal today?).
Bournemouth and Watford go down with Norwich. Tough on Bournemouth as they won today and the "non goal" a few weeks back kept Villa above them by a point.

Week 38 Final Scores (10 Games)
    Biopunk 12, Gibbo 6, Lee 5, Paulo 2, (Lawro 6, James 4)

Bio coming good with three 3 pointers in the last 4 games, sadly not enough to get him up the final table.
    Congrats Biopunk :)

Just the Cup to come, plus all those European matches to finish.
Premier league kicks off next season on the 12th September, which is 7 weeks away.

  7. Woo-hoo! I'm on a roll, I can feel it in my arthritic joints!

I'll have that F.A. Cup for cert, because there's no way you can pull off a double (...especially after going with Arsenal!)

Thanks for doing the NBTF competition again this year Lee, difficult times and all.
    Looking forward to next year.

Don't go to Spain on holiday and stay healthy all of you!

No plans on going to Spain, or anywhere really.

    C'mon the Gooners :)

  10. Win for Arsenal, Chelsea good for the first 10 minutes but faded badly as Arsenal bossed the game.
Chelsea hamstrung by injuries and a dodgy sending off.

    Points today - Lee 3, Lawro 1, Josh 1

Final F.A Cup Scores (63 Games)
    Lee 48, Biopunk 45, Gibbo 42, Paulo 35, (Lawro 54, Lawro Guests 15)

Overall a win for Lawro, but he don't count :)

A League and Cup double for me Woo Hoo!!!
