Premier Predictions (Week 01)

Drum Roll ....  🥁

Here we go again the Premier League is back, so if anybody is still interested here we go with the 16th NBTF Premier Predictions competition (2025-26 Edition).

Hopefully the regular players will be back and anyone reading this blog is welcome to join in at any point, just let me know a name and club supported so I can give you some colours.

Another season of re-arranged on various days for TV games over the season. 😠

T&C's - Usual rules apply
3 Points for a correct score, 1 Point for a correct result.
Predictions League will be decided on weekly wins first, if 2 or more people share a weekly win that will be classed as a draw, if at the end things are still level the total points for the season come into play.
Predictions in the comments please  😀
Obviously predictions will only count if they are made before the kick offs, please try and post the whole set at once (but I won't enforce it as these Friday night games catch everyone out including me).
All 380 Premier League games will be covered, plus sometimes FA Cup games and the League Cup Final will be included to make up weeks where there are many postponements due to those games.

Prizes - Just the admiration of everyone who plays

Can't solve the comments problem? so if your comment does not post straight away don't worry it should be in my comment moderation box as it assumes a lot of posts are spam.
Will publish as soon as I check.

Here we go  👍

  6. That was nearly awkward, obviously it's sacrilege to cheer on Tottenham.
I like Thomas Frank and they did play really well against PSG, but then he took off their best 4 players and it all fell apart.
Very Spursy to let in 2 late goals and then lose on Penalties after being 2-0 up in that as well.

  9. Also they have a prediction by BBC AI (a licence funded Paul's Model) so I'll keep a check on that one as well and count it as BBC extra guest. The more the merrier.
We'll see if the humans can outwit the computers in a Sarah Connor v Skynet style :)

    1. How good could my model be if I had the TV licence fees at my disposal. Might be good to post the BBC AI predictions, just in case it becomes the 'Grays Sports Almanac 2025 - 2026' ;)

Good game to start, 4-2 to Liverpool point for everyone.
The rarely seen Chiesa coming on to save Liverpool's blushes with a late goal before Salah scored in injury time.
Great goal by Semenyo as Bournemouth nearly surprised us all.
