Reading that Scott Parker might be the new West Ham manager?
Happy they've finally got rid of Nuno Santo who seemed to fall out with players a lot, and doesn't seem to know how to set up a team or make the right substitutions.
But changing one unispiring manager for another doesn't fill me with confidence.
I know Parker had a few good years at West Ham but after a pretty average 2011 season where we were relegated in last place, he claimed he was too good for the Championship and engineered his way out to sign for Tottenham of all teams π So I'm not really a fan.
I guess the thinking is that he gets teams promoted as he managed it with Fulham, Bournemouth and Burnley, but in the Premier League he got Fulham relegated and was sacked by Burnley and Bournemouth. Was also sacked by Club Brugge after only 3 months.
He wouldn't have been on my list of preferred candidates, was hoping Eddie Howe didn't mind a drop down for a season? but I guess Parker is a cheaper option π
