I was told today the Hammers are looking at signing yet another Tottenham reject Giovani Dos Santos!!Hopefully it's just a vicious rumour designed to piss us all off, but my source was an avid Hammers fan so I don't know?
The trail of crap we've signed from Shite Hart lane is long, while they continue to pick up all our stars at bargain basement prices.
Surely our current position, along with being one of ten best supported teams in the country and having a respected manager should be enough to attract some decent players to Upton park? rather than whatever player Redknapp is trying to get shot of.

ReplyDeletewould not read too much into this as its harrys way of letting everyone else know he is available big sam has been shrewd so far and the loaning of Lansbury and signing of Baldock shows he knows what we need, a source close to the club has told me we are very close to signing Maynard from bristol city and Butterfield from barnsley proven players at this level come on u irons

I think bigger teams than us are looking at Butterfield, and we seemed to have been linked with Maynard for quite a while with nothing really happening so I'm not sure? both are out of contract this summer so it's a possible.
ReplyDeleteJordan Rhodes is looking good at Huddersfield but if there was a chance of him leaving I guess a number of current Prem teams would outbid us.
we had a 3 million bid turned down for Rhodes Monday and like you i think he will go to someone like Everton or Villa watch this space on the other two also heard Fulham are after Noble and Fernandez at QPR is trying to build a mirror image of us by trying to buy Tompkins but its all sour grapes because we turned down his bid

We should still be grateful to QPR for taking Kieron Dyer off our treatment table proving what Warnock knows about football haha :)
