Fulham v Norwich
QPR v Swansea
Reading v Stoke
West Brom v Liverpool
West Ham v Aston Villa
Newcastle v Tottenham
Sunday
Wigan v Chelsea
Man City v Southampton
Monday
Everton v Man Utd
Wednesday
Chelsea v Reading
Longy has won the last two so we need some serious competition this season :)
For some reason we start with 11 games this week as Chelsea and Reading have an extra game this week?
So it's a chance for big spending Chelsea to lead the pack for a few weeks until the others catch up the games.
I just want to put this on record before a ball is kicked. We won't win the league. Di Matteo won't last the season and West Ham will go down (yes it was me Lee lol)

And Lee mate. I've been here for 20 minutes trying to post this. This is the only blog I have trouble with. Your've got too many treads on one page, and firefox won't fucking work. If I can't log in,I can't do this. Getting through spam security is a fucking joke here now as well which is why I hardly visit any blogs. Fuck me man,I only want to post me bastard scores! Sorry mate, just fed up with it!
Tried a test post from work (which will probably get me into trouble for viewing a non work related website) and had no trouble at all?
ReplyDeleteIf Biopunk, Gobby or anyone else viewing this could let me know if they are also having problems?
I have removed the word verification thing to see if that helps?

I was getting worried Biopunk, and welcome Paulo :)
ReplyDeleteWould have checked earlier but was trying to update my fantasy footie teams on websites that keep crashing after the teams are announced :(
Good luck all
The usual story :)
ReplyDeleteNone of us went for Swansea or West Brom, and although 3 of you went for Fulham the score wasn't close.
Congrats to newcomer Paulo for being the only one to get a correct score, the Hammers game :D
Current scores 5pm - 1 to go
Paulo 4, Biopunk 2, Lee 1, Longy 1, Gobshyte 0
Me and Longy back in the game with Newcastle's 2-1 win :)
ReplyDeleteCurrent scores - Day 1
Paulo 5, Lee 4, Longy 4, Biopunk 2, Gobshyte 0
do things get any better? being west ham fan the mighty irons champions league and myself top of the real league cant have chelski win in a third time!
ReplyDeleteWell done Paulo!
ReplyDeleteDay 2
ReplyDelete3 pointers for Paulo and Biopunk and we all scraped a point with City.
Paulo 9, Lee 6, Biopunk 6, Longy 5, Gobshyte 2
Well done Paulo!
ReplyDeleteDay 3 - No change
ReplyDeleteStill a chance of myself and Biopunk catching up if Chelsea win 3-1 or 2-0, but Paulo has guaranteed at least a share of the top spot.
* as we have more people this year (so far), I thought I would make a slight change to the points allocation so that if 2 or more people finish level at the top each week they get a draw point.
Outright wins are still the main score but if we finish level at the end of the season draws will count, so last years scores would have been -
Longy 16-5, Lee 13-5, Biopunk 4-0.
I think you should do a really posh league table every week as well :)
ReplyDeleteI'll see what I can do :)
ReplyDeleteWeek 1 final scores
ReplyDeletePaulo 9, Lee 7, Biopunk 7, Longy 6, Gobshyte 3
Congratulations Paulo, a great start :)
