Internationals over back to the real stuff, 8 games Saturday and one each on Sunday and Monday.
Sunderland v Man Utd
Arsenal v Reading
Man City v Newcastle
Southampton v Chelsea
Swansea v Tottenham
West Ham v West Brom
Wigan v Norwich
Everton v Stoke
Aston Villa v Liverpool
Fulham v QPR
A Wigan win probably drags everyone up to Fulham in 10th into a relegation battle, can't really see Reading and QPR doing enough in their remaining 8 games to escape but some nervous games coming up for the rest of us :(

Day 1 Scores
ReplyDeleteLee 8, Longy 7, Paulo 7, Biopunk 6, Gobshyte 6
Paulo you should hate yourself a bit more, but we won so it doesn't really matter :)
5 Mins to go and I really need another goal from anyone!!
ReplyDeleteWell that was the worst possible result, Not only a win for the cheating scouses but 3 points for all the rest of you :(
ReplyDeleteDay 2 - Longy 10, Paulo 10, Biopunk 9, Gobshyte 9, Lee 8
Exciting end with lots of options :)
perhaps i should Lee but its a bitter taste wanting them to win, had a great day yesterday at UP and the new plans were revealed retractable seats meaning the only problem we will have is filling the place still cheap tickets will help, also had a long chat with gold and sullivan very amicable men who had loads of time for the punters
ReplyDeleteback to the fantasy table all 5 of us going for different scores could be interesting
cheers
Paulo
Hob-knobbing (is that a word?) with the management eh Paulo :) hope you pressed the low cost tickets point.
ReplyDeleteReasonable price tickets and a half decent team and a lot of us who can't justify spending so much anymore might be persuaded back :)
I might remind the wife of her promise to buy me a season ticket a few years back (till she found out the actual cost).
they were quite open about most things that were put to them and insisted that the tickets would be up to 50% cheaper so lets wait and see, I ,like you have been restricted to picking and choosing games to attend and rely on freebies (thanks again gobby for fulham) as my kids are now at the age of wanting to go with the old man to see what all the fuss is about and my missis can spot my "spending" habits a mile off so Im careful with my financial activities lol
ReplyDeleteListen to you two self-hating Hammerers!
ReplyDeleteHere I am, cheering for Fulham! And an Australian goal keeper! April 1st?
My eldest has bought me a ticket for next week :) sadly not the Hammers though but off to Wembley to watch my local mob's attempt to win a trophy :)
ReplyDeleteHopefully post some pics as it's the first time I've been to the new Wembley.
Anyway back to the matter in hand, it's a 4 way tie which luckily for me keeps me top my the skin of my teeth :)
Day 3 Final Scores - Biopunk 10, Gobshyte 10, Longy 10, Paulo 10, Lee 8
Southend United v Crewe Alexandra 2-1 ;)
Deleteyou will love it! i was there for the play offs last year great place if you win also lee you never know your luck you could be leading the team out as everyone else seems to be lol i feel really sorry for sturrock and think he has been shafted again
ReplyDeletecheers
paulo (obrien not dicanio lol)
Yeah that decision stinks, they could have waited till the end of the season.
ReplyDeleteThe team really isn't good enough to go up whoever is in charge, I'm hoping they have one of their special days next Sunday but way too often they look really average :(
Odd coincidence - the guy I work with went to Nando's the other day and met Joey O'brien and got his autograph.
Ahh cousen Joey he got me into brighton last yyear without knowing but thats another story hard to believe he only 27 his paper round must have been all uphill!!
ReplyDeletecheers
paulo
Enjoy Wembley Lee and take plenty of money if you eat and drink! For the first time I'm not bothering with the Chelsea vs City semi. I'm bored of the place and I'm sick of getting ripped off. Just the final for me if we get there this year! Oh and Dam if Rafa don't fuck that up too lol
ReplyDeleteCheers fellas :)
ReplyDeleteI've been warned about the grub prices and that I can't take any drinks in with me, had the same problem at the Millenium a few years back where they even nicked my water bottle :(
Probably best I don't drink too much as I'm going with a bunch of people including my boy's in-laws who are all Liverpool supporters, and as the Hammers play the scouses at the same time I'm sure after a few drinks I'd be telling them just what I think of the cheating b'stards :)
