Premier Predictions (Week 24 + 25)

Right here we go with a double week, usual rules post before the games kick off. Either all at once for the forgetful people (Longy) or singly.
This weekends games are 7 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday including the North London derby and Merseyside derby.
Next week there are 4 games on Tuesday and 6 on Wednesday.
The following weekend is Cup week again.

Week 24
Tottenham v Arsenal
Aston Villa v Chelsea
Leicester v C Palace
Man City v Hull
QPR v Southampton
Swansea v Sunderland
Everton v Liverpool
---
Burnley v West Brom
Newcastle v Stoke
West Ham v Man Utd

Week 25
Arsenal v Leicester
Hull v Aston Villa
Sunderland v QPR
Liverpool v Tottenham
---
Chelsea v Everton
Man Utd v Burnley

Good luck all, chance of a new leader this week unless Dave fights back?

  20. Right a quick check sees that I'm still waiting on Dave, Paul and Biopunk
Hope Biopunk is ok as he doesn't usually miss out and I don't think I've been giving Chelsea any more abuse than usual (Man U this week, sorry Dave) :)
Nearly caught me out Paulo with those last 2 the other way around, if you want to change them let me know before kick off :)

  24. Gathering dust Dave :)
Man U have always been like a second team to me, we had the World cup winners and you had Best and Charlton etc but I lived closer to London so I went for the Hammers (mad fool) but I support them against anyone else except the Hammers :)
At the other end of things Liverpool v Tottenham gives me a problem as I can't stand either of them :)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Can't fault you for hating red scouse, not coming from London don't mind spurs.
And no I don't come from Manchester. But been a United fan since 81 when my hero Bryan Robson signed for them. So I was a fan before we started winning things . Apart from the odd FA cup. All the best Dave.

  26. Day 1 Scores (4 Games)
    Paul 5, Dave 3, Gobshyte 3, John 3, Longy 2, Lee 1, Paulo 1, Biopunk -, (Lawro 3)

Well done to Paul for getting the only 3 pointer of the night, and none of us expected QPR to win away from home especially without droopy chops in the dugout :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well from my point of view that was an exciting finish :)
Paul looked to have it sown up with his 2nd 3 pointer in the Chelsea game, then it looked like I was going to make a great comeback just needing a late Swansea goal to grab an unlikely win, then I checked Gobby's score :(

    Day 2 Final Scores
    Gobshyte 10, Lee 9, Paul 9, John 7, Dave 6, Longy 6, Paulo 4, Biopunk -, (Lawro 7)

So congrats to Gobshyte although only one 3 pointer an impressive 7 single points :)

Cup games this weekend so back on the 21st

  28. Trust me to miss a double week!

I'm alright, just a few hundred dollars lighter.

Came home that Friday night to put up my predictions and found a dead computer. :(

Tried to get the parts to fix it, only available in the US...

The exchange rate on the CAN $ was also going to add another 20% to the price on top of customs & shipping, so it was cheaper to get a new one.

Was sick as a dog all last week, so I only saw sodding Liverpool play Palace, but there ain't any snow in sight here and the crocuses are popping out with all the blue skies and warm weather.

    I'll be ready for Saturday!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Glad you're ok Bio :) I know I don't actually know you in real life, but I still get worried something might have happened?
Shame about the computer, I've been there myself not good :(
I watch Ice road truckers so assume all Canada is always deep in snow ... hehe :)
Predictions still wide open will post this weeks later
