Wasn't even close, Fat Sam trotted out the injuries and tiredness excuses forgetting that West Brom had played the same days as us last week and all 11 starters for them had played Wednesday.
Probably the poorest performance of the season and I just hope that we were saving ourselves for next week?
Sad news concerning the accident on the M1 which accounted for the less than full ground at the start, it appears the 3 people that died were Hammers fans on their way to the game, so heartfelt sympathy for the family and friends of those concerned :(
