Premier Predictions (Week 23)

8 Games on Saturday, 2 on Sunday.
Norwich have been spending some money this week although I think Naismith is injured, so Liverpool will be happy.
West Ham will hope for a double over City, we have beaten them twice in the last 3 meetings but depends which version of City turn up.
Arsenal v Chelsea is usually interesting, although no Mourinho means it will be about the game. Ref is Clattenburg so he should be equally bad for both teams :)

Norwich v Liverpool
C Palace v Tottenham
Leicester v Stoke
Man Utd v Southampton
Sunderland v Bournemouth
Watford v Newcastle
West Brom v Aston Villa
West Ham v Man City

Everton v Swansea
Arsenal v Chelsea

  3. Lawro's done his predictions, and glad to say he's gone for a 2-0 Man City win at Upton Park so we should be alright for the win :)
Still in shock that he's gone for Liverpool to draw though, even he must be losing the faith?

    2. Yep :)
I had a vision, but with the way my predictions have been going lately that should guarantee 3 points for Chelsea :(
and predicting West Ham to win is usually the kiss of death :(

  9. 1-0 to Liverpool despite being outplayed so far, I fear for Norwich

    1. That worked Norwich 2-1 up :)
Really should watch BT Sport with the sound down, I know they must be sponsored by Liverpool but the bias is getting unbearable

  10. What a crazy game, if Norwich could defend it could have been a great win but every time Liverpool went forward they scored.
9 goals from only 12 on target, so the keepers were only busy bending down to pick it out of the net.
Norwich will be gutted, Liverpool will be over the moon that they could play so bad and still score 5 and win.

Point for all of us except Longy (and Lawro).

  11. Wow for the first time since Boxing day (53 games) I managed a 3 pointer :)

    Current Scores (7 Games)
    Lee 7, Biopunk 4, Paul 4, Longy 2, Paulo 2, John 1, (Lawro 2)
.. Sorry John (although you're still in with a shout)

  12. Half time at Upton Park 1-1, brilliant game so far with the Hammers scoring in the 1st minute. Luckily weak link Jenkinson was injured when Aguerro kicked his foot for the penalty? so he's off and Byram on and the defence looks much better. A few brilliant moments from Payet including a stunning save by Hart from his free kick. Good stuff so far :)

  13. Missed the end, can't believe American television cut away from the football to bring you weather reports :(

    Day 1 Scores (8 Games)
    Lee 10, Paul 5, Biopunk 4, Longy 2, Paulo 2, John 1, (Lawro 2)
    Looking good :)

  14. Early game done, another bad performance by Everton? good win for Swansea.
The "big" game already ruined by the lumbering German getting sent off for a last man foul, which is always a red card (except if it's by a Man City player against West Ham??).
Chelsea a goal up, and Arsenal look terrible?

  15. Final game turned into a non event after the sending off, Chelsea sat on the 1-0 and despite Arsenal having most of the 2nd Half they never looked like scoring. I think the odds on Leicester or Tottenham winning the league must be falling fast?

Nothing to add on the scores as none of us predicted Chelsea or Swansea.

    Week 23 Final Scores
    Lee 10, Paul 5, Biopunk 4, Longy 2, Paulo 2, John 1, (Lawro 2)
John's winning run comes to an end in style, and I'm happy to get my first decent score in ages.
    So congrats to me :)
