Premier Predictions (Week 30)

Here we go with the most confusing prediction competition I've ever done :)
Total of 9 games over 4 days. 5 Premier league and 4 FA Cup games.
All games count towards the weekly Premier league competition, and the 4 Cup games will also count in the Cup competition (does that make sense). So simply please all do the 9 games.

First game is on Friday night? plus 4 on Saturday.
Arsenal have to play Sunday afternoon before travelling to Spain to play Barcelona on Tuesday (if it wasn't already hard enough?).
The big game is Sunday at 4pm with West Ham trying to reach the Semi's for the first time in 10 years.
The other big game is Monday night with Leicester trying to get one game closer to the title against Newcastle who might not have a manager?
Phew ... Good Luck All :)

  5. Sorry about that, had a problem with the pics at the side suddenly went half size? so decided to change the layout sizes but Blogger wouldn't let me adjust the template I had as it was non standard.
Buggered about with the HTML but couldn't get it right.
So have gone with one of their regulation templates and was just happy to get it working, I know it needs some fine tuning but I'll get to that :)

  7. Really hoping the same Man Utd turn up on Sunday that played last night, as they were complete sh*t, really hoping I don't put the mockers on them by going for a win?
If Wenger does what I expect and plays the kids on Sunday so he can chase the lost cause on Tuesday, I reckon Watford could win?

    Reading v C Palace (FAC) 2-1

  8. I think West Ham might be cursed? not only have I gone for a win but so has Longy? and Lawrenson even said we'd get through after a draw. So looks like we're doomed :(

    1. I went with a draw, just so your lot could win the replay and enter the semis to much fanfare over that Mancunian rabble. ;)

  9. 1 Game down and a point each for Bio and Longy, looked like being a draw until dodgy Dean intervened.

  11. Cheers Paul, nice try ;)
Trying to figure out why the early game isn't on BT sport? haven't got Sky.

  12. 2 Games down and nobody went for that, feeling lucky now it wasn't on my telly.
Leicester have been really good this season, but nobody is putting any pressure on them?
Champions league places now wide open, West Ham, Man U and Liverpool are still in with a shout of grabbing 3rd or 4th?

  13. I bet Chelsea wish they had a striker like Lukaku ... oh yeah :)

5 Games done and the scores aren't that good, I had a 'mare :(

    Day 1 Scores
    John 2, Paulo 2, Bioponk 1, Longy 1, Paul 1, Lee 0, (Lawro 3)

    1. Well, well, well...
Way to turn that 'mare around and keep your 5-0 dream a possibility. ;)

  14. Indeed, shame about the Hammers (and that dodgy German fouling our keeper) I was going to put 1-1 but thought I should show some faith in our boys :)
Son came home today for a visit from the US of A, hence the late post.

Day 2 Scores (8 Games, 1 to go)
    Biopunk 6, Lee 6, John 3, Paulo 3, Longy 2, Paul 2, (Lawro 9)

Lawro is thrashing us, but he doesn't count :)
2-0 to Leicester gives everyone except Bio 3 points later on tonight, a 4-0 means a stunning win for Bio, anything else and it's a drawn week.

  15. Week 30 Final Scores
    Biopunk 7, Lee 7, John 4, Paulo 4, Longy 3, Paul 3, (Lawro 10)
and the winner this week is ... Mark Lawrenson :(

But he doesn't count so congrats to Biopunk and Me :)
A drawn week does not really help either of us, but it's good to not lose.

The FA Cup part of the predictions already has a winner.
With 3 rounds to go, Biopunk has a 10 point lead with only 9 to play for.
So on the 21st May he will be our first FA Cup predictions winner :)
    Scores after 60 games - Biopunk 58, John 48, Lee 43, Longy 39, Paulo 37, *Paul* 1, (Lawro 42)
