    1. Well that answers that question :)
Hate it when people use logic instead of blind faith, that's what being a supporter is all about :)

Saw a nice comment from a West Ham fan in a video that when viral this week "as it says in our song - fortunes always hiding, we're West Ham we don't expect to win things" too right :)

    Hull v Man City 1-2
    Liverpool v Stoke 1-0

    The Model

The model will post its predictions as they fall. 'She' can only predict the future on a game by game basis ;)

  8. Watford v C Palace 0-2 (big Sam should get something out of these today)
Arsenal v West Brom 3-1 (Gunners should dominate for at least 45mins)
    Burnley v Middlesbrough 1-0
Chelsea v Bournemouth 1-0 (Chelsea the new Arsenal)
Leicester v Everton 0-1 (Leicester without Vardy?)
    Man Utd v Sunderland 2-0
Swansea v West Ham 1-1 (History would suggest a draw)
    Hull v Man City 0-2
    Liverpool v Stoke 2-0
Southampton v Tottenham 0-1 (although Saints have form, Spurs tend to get a result here?)

Merry Christmas everyone. Thanks for keeping this going Lee, have to admit that I actually enjoy this more than fantasy football at the moment !!

  9. Day 1 Scores (8 Games)
    Biopunk 12, Lee 8, Paul 8, Paulo 5, Longy 4, (Lawro 10, Lawro's Guest 7, Paul's Model 9)

Biopunk's best score of the season so far, but not guaranteed the win yet as Paul could still catch him.
    Some good scoring though :)

    ReplyDelete
  10. Day 2 Scores (9 Games)
    Biopunk 12, Lee 9, Paul 9, Longy 5, Paulo 5, (Lawro 11, Lawro's Guest 8, Paul's Model 10)

New improved Biopunk (3 double figure scores in 3 weeks) is guaranteed a share, but Paul could draw level if Tottenham win 1-0.

  11. 2 Minutes in, and Paul's hopes are shattered already.

  12. Week 18 Final Scores
    Biopunk 12, Paul 10, Lee 9, Longy 6, Paulo 5, (Lawro 12, Lawro's Guest 8, Paul's Model 10)

A win for Biopunk although Mark Lawrenson also got 12, I got my usual 9 and Paul was unlucky that Tottenham went goal crazy.

Congrats Biopunk, a good Christmas so far :)
On with Week 19 starting Friday, just me and Paul to post.

Had to manually input the fixtures today as football-data website not updated. Looking at the predictions makes me think I did it wrong ;) Just when the Model had broken even !!

    The Model

    Man Utd v Middlesbrough 2-0

    Swansea v Bournemouth 2-1
    Liverpool v Man City 2-1 (W9 D4 L1 since 2003 c'mon you Reds)

  17. Week 19 Day 1 (1 Game)
A point each for Lawro and Paul's Model, nothing for the players :(

    ReplyDelete
  18. Managed almost an hour of the Liverpool v City Yawnfest before nodding off, City had most of the game but never looked like scoring. It looks like West Ham totally outplayed Leicester but couldn't stick the ball in the net so back to losing ways :(.

    Week 19 Day 2 Scores (8 Games)
    Longy 5, Biopunk 4, Paul 4, Lee 3, Paulo 3, (Lawro 6, Lawro's Guest 2, Paul's Model 5)
Lawro has got the only 3 pointer so far this week, so not a good one so far.

    1. Chelsea won again Lee, it's a great one so far! ;)

      Happy New Year all!

  19. Great start to the New Year, I've just woken up and my head is really fuzzy :(
Tottenham have won and Arsenal are a goal up.

Current scores are - Week 19 Scores (9 Games)
    Longy 6, Biopunk 5, Lee 4, Paul 4, Paulo 3, (Lawro 7, Lawro's Guest 2, Paul's Model 5)
Only Longy and Biopunk can win outright

    ReplyDelete
  20. So after us "experts" managed just one 3 pointer in the first 72 predictions, 5 come along in the final game :)
What that all means is Mark Lawrenson has beaten us all :(
But as far as the competition is concerned Biopunk has overtaken Longy in the final game to make it a hat-trick of wins and take the lead overall.
Sympathy for Longy who is the only player doing worse than me and was so close to grabbing his first win of the season with 7/10 one pointers, anything other than 2-0 would have been enough.

    Week 19 Final Scores
    Biopunk 8, Lee 7, Longy 7, Paul 7, Paulo 4, (Lawro 10, Lawro's Guest 3, Paul's Model 8)

    Congrats to Biopunk :)

The Week 20 games start tomorrow at 12:30PM, so Paul and myself need to predict and update our FPL teams before then.

Really looking forward to Wednesday's Tottenham v Chelsea game, hoping that Chelsea make it 14 wins on the trot to shut up all the annoying Spuds fans who are getting cocky again :)

Paul wins the week, I didn't tie with Lee, The Model gets her own account, & Longy is back to getting points on his Chelsea predictions!

(Paulo, I expect you to sweep the NBTF field in 2 weeks!)

  30. Ah sorry nodded off, was hoping for a rip-roaring goal fest with heavy tackles, controversy and multiple red cards but it was a bit of a damp squib and to make it worse Tottenham won :(
Just a point for Longy tonight, so he'll be happy :)

    Week 20 Final Scores
    Paul 12, Lee 7, Biopunk 6, Longy 4, Paulo 3, (Lawro 8, Lawro's Guest 6, Paul's Model 8)

Meaning Paul's back to the top ending Bio's winning streak ... when's my one going to start?????

    Congrats Paul :)

Prem predictions back in a week, have a go at the Cup competition.

  31. Form since I last got a win or draw in week 8 (W-D-L) - Paul 4-2-6, Biopunk 3-1-8, Paulo 3-1-8, Longy 0-1-11
