Premier Predictions (Week 38 + FA Cup)

The final week

Not much left riding on these games as our competition is over, the title and 2nd place has been decided, 3 teams are already relegated which just leaves the 3rd, 4th and 5th place to be finalised.
Arsenal have to win and hope the other 2 slip up, which looks unlikely.

Arsenal v Everton
Burnley v West Ham
Chelsea v Sunderland
Hull v Tottenham
Leicester v Bournemouth
Liverpool v Middlesbrough
Man Utd v C Palace
Southampton v Stoke
Swansea v West Brom
Watford v Man City

Just for completion here's the FA Cup Final
(does not count in the week 38 scores)

Arsenal v Chelsea (90 minute score)

Good luck all :)

Back for a new season around the second week of August, but hope to be posting various stuff to fill the gaps in the meantime.
10 weeks without Football, not even an International competition it's a disgrace :)

Hopefully you will all be back next season to try and beat Paul :)

  6. Finally kicked off my footyedge.co.uk blog.Bit late in the season I know 🙄 but wanted to use my own domain, so had to change my hosting package over from windows to linux as windows doesn't support Wordpress. All work in progress, wanted a forum to share some of the models outputs. Will still be posting my predictions on here though 😀

    1. Added it to my footy links, will give it a look next season.
I think I've still got some Wordpress blogs somewhere in cyberspace but have forgotten logins, passwords etc?

  7. and all the excitement here is my battle with my son in FPL.
117 points behind with 6 weeks to go, looking dead and buried but at half time today I lead by one point :)
Hoping Kane can bang in another 3-4 in the second half as he's my triple captain.

As far as the prem goes, Liverpool are stumbling into the Champions league, Man City are storming into 3rd and Arsenal are just praying after Koscielny got sent off (which is great news for Chelsea next week).

  8. Damn Aaron Ramsey, you were 5th anyway why did you need to screw my win with that injury time goal grrrr!!! :(

    (Lawro 9, Lawro's Guest 9, Paul's Model 5)

    Congrats Biopunk grrr!! haha
10th win of the season, just behind Paul on drawn weeks, but a bloody good effort.
The rest of us need to up our game.

Congrats to Paul on your second win, with a new record score.
    Stats to follow.

Lots of goals on Match of the day tonight, and a West Ham win :) worth a watch.

    1. NBTF FPL too close to call? currently 3 points in front but bonus points still to be awarded.
Will be gutted if I lose for a second season despite being on the same points.

    2. It's funny; in weeks when I make my prediction and think I'm excessive with the # of goals scored in a match, I am always proved wrong. At least Hull and Sunderland each scored a goal on they way out.

Thanks for doing this Lee, and to the rest of you reprobates for showing up every week, for making this fun! (This includes that skiving Longy fellow...)

And West Ham finishes above Leicester? Who'da thunk it? 😉

  10. Well that was a shock, shouldn't think many expected Mertesacker to be the star of the show.

Not many points today, Lawro's Guest 2 got 3 points, 1 for Lawro's 3rd Guest.

Paul has won the League and Cup double (unlike Chelsea), so congrats Paul :)

    That's all folks .......
