Premier Predictions (Week 10)

Week 10 already, so over a quarter of the season done (and I still haven't got any points).
Finally updated my fixtures grid so I can start taking the Fantasy football seriously after a duff start. Two changes here - West Brom will now be known as WBA, and C Palace will now be Crystal Palace (Obviously), made it easier to type in the fixtures in my spreadsheet.

On to this week, 7 games on Saturday, 2 on Sunday and one on Monday night.
Man U v Tottenham is the stand out fixture, will Mourinho park the bus at Old Trafford to stop Kane?
West Ham go to Palace having won their last 3 games there, so with that and Palace's form this season it has to be a win (so I'll probably predict a defeat with my record this season!!).
Can West Brom do a Wolves and stop City scoring? probably not.

Man Utd v Tottenham
Arsenal v Swansea
Crystal Palace v West Ham
Liverpool v Huddersfield
Watford v Stoke
WBA v Man City
Bournemouth v Chelsea

Brighton v Southampton
Leicester v Everton
Burnley v Newcastle

Good Luck All :)

Here's the current table with all the info (including my record equalling crap start)

  1. Something to shout about at last :)
Didn't look too bad in the first half but somehow went in 2-0 down, but what a comeback.
Good to have a proper goalie back, Noble Carroll Oggy all missing against Brighton played great.
    Over the moon :)

  4. I'm always hopeful but at half time I wouldn't have put a penny on us to win, thought we had played reasonable but 2 sucker punches caught us out, and I thought they would just shut up shop and hit us on the break. So glad to be wrong :)
Noble might not be the force he was 2-3 years ago but totally worth his place in the team to gee everyone up, needed him badly last Friday which was as bad as I can remember.
Draw is this afternoon and the only bonus if we get City away is that Hart won't play :)

  5. Some bright spark at Carabao decided the Cup draw should be live on Twitter at 4pm, 5:15pm and all anyone gets is "Apologies from the EFL and Twitter. We are still working on the technical difficulties and will bring you the draw as soon as possible..."
    Some good comments though :)
"Draw is being done for the 8th time as United are yet to get Bristol City at home"
"Delay to #CarabaoCup draw as United and Bristol City's balls fell off the radiator"
"The #CarabaoCup Quarter-Final Draw delayed, after Pep Guardiola deemed the balls as unacceptable"
"Liverpool will have had 'their year' by the time this starts. #CarabaoCup"
"I see the #CarabaoCup draw is taking inspiration from Spurs by collapsing and being a complete shambles"
"Leicester City v Brazil, West Ham v Boca Juniors Wmns U21, Arsenal v Arsenal Ladies, Manchester Utd v Anthony Joshua"

  19. Not sure why I didn't go for my usual Everton 1-0 win or lose. It was obvious before the game started. Don't worry Lee, you will get you mojo back. It's a bit like waiting for Sturridge to score ;)
