  2. This weeks Lawro guests are Russell and Ed from the band "The Editors".
Useless trivia - Paul S should remember Peter from the old job who used to be a drummer in the band "the Workhouse" who was a little bitter that the Editors had made it big, when they once were a support band for his group back in the day :)

Listening to your Hammers confidence, I have to go for Palace. After the last two Liverpool showings I am starting to question why I even like football. After the high of city...it was like we were playing on a mud drenched pitch at Tilbury Town. And we haven't really bought anyone...and it gets right on my nerves..rant over ;)

  7. Considering the circumstances that is a terrific result, at least we didn't lose to a rival :)
Carvalhal has turned Swansea from dead and buried to having a chance of staying up which never looked likely under Clement, can't get my head around Arsenal?
Huddersfield now looking likely candidates, if West Brom weren't playing City away tomorrow it could be really tight at the bottom.

  16. This weeks Lawro guests are American Footballers Emmanuel Sanders (Denver Broncos) and Josh Norman (Washington Redskins) neither of which are in Sunday's Superbowl.
As I'm on earlies next week I'll have to watch the highlights if New England win :)

Just realised I've listed these in the wrong order, the Arsenal v Everton game is the 5.30 game.
Will Walcott come back to haunt Wenger :)

    Burnley v Man City 0-2
    Arsenal v Everton 3-2
    Bournemouth v Stoke 2-1
Brighton v West Ham 2-3 - Wishful thinking maybe :)

    Liverpool v Tottenham 2-3

  17. Watching Arsenal v Everton, 4-0 at half time!!
Arsenal playing ok, Everton are rubbish, Guardiola must be slightly worried that Mangala has to come back at the end of the season as he has no idea what he is doing tonight.
Abamalangadingdong has had one kick which was a yard offside, I guess the lino had rain in his eyes?
Against a decent team Arsenal would be struggling, but against this lot it might end up in double figures?

  20. Amazing last 10 minutes, game drifting along at 1-0 then a Tottenham goal, a missed penalty and 2 goals in injury time. Wonder if any away team has ever had 2 penalties at Anfield before?

Another one of those "special" weeks from Paulo, can he grab another 3 tomorrow to break his own season record? Paulo's on a roll again :)

  21. I put it all down to a: West Ham depressing self distraction

  22. Well Done Paulo...

As far as the Liverpool game goes....great for the neutral and Spurs fans. Surely Kane could have slotted the ball into the empty net rather than wait for any contact on his well placed, trailing leg/foot. and a penalty.

  23. 4-1 didn't see that coming, although Longy and Paul fancied Watford for a win.

    Coincidence? 🤔

  25. Shocking performance from the Blues (again) 2nd game in a row we have been well beaten. It seems the players are having a nap until the Barca game. I bet they don't play as shit against them!
