Sad to hear that former West Brom star Cyrille Regis died today at only 59 years of age :(
Remember seeing him many times during his heyday, back in the days when West Brom were one of the best teams to watch with Regis, Tony "Bomber" Brown and Laurie Cunningham all playing.
Loved that Green and Yellow kit, I remember my Sunday league team voting that the kit we wanted to wear, but the boss said we could only afford a plain blue kit :(
Anyway this is an excuse to watch again one of the greatest games in my memory, when the Baggies went to Old Trafford and smashed Man U by 5-3 which included some stunning goals, and none better than Cyrille Regis' hitting the 5th.
I remember that game too. They had a good side back then under big Ron. Been a bad week with Dolores gone as well and even worse,Chelsea trying to sign Andy Carroll :(
ReplyDeleteYeah Dolores died the same day "No Need to Argue" has been on repeat in the car :(
ReplyDeleteI think a Hazard / Carroll straight swap seems reasonable, now they've lost Morata suspnded they might go for it hehe :)
After last night we bloody well NEED Andy Carroll! Yea gutted about poor Dolores :(
ReplyDeleteLuckily for you Carroll is injured again and out for a month, £20m + bring your own wheelchair :)
