  2. England live on ITV, will the curse of ITV carry on?
Since 1998 we've only managed a win once in the World Cup when shown on ITV (against Trinidad in 2006), all the other wins have been on the BBC.

    France v Argentina 1-0
    Uruguay v Portugal 1-0
    Spain v Russia 3-1
    Croatia v Denmark 2-0
    Brazil v Mexico 2-0
    Belgium v Japan 3-0
    Sweden v Switzerland 1-1
    Colombia v England 1-2

  3. France finally looking like a team who could win the World Cup.
Uruguay played really well despite a rare defensive mistake.
    Bye Bye Messi and Ronaldo.

  4. Both games go to extra time and penalties, so no points today.
Congrats to Russia and Croatia for holding their nerve, unlucky Schmeichel.

  6. Ooh that was a nail biter, still keeping my hopes realistic but that was f**king brilliant :D
Win for Sweden as well which sets up another nail biter on Saturday.
Must remember to wear my lucky England shirt again, worn tonight and for the Panama game ... every little helps :)

No points for anyone tonight, but I don't care
