Premier Predictions (Week 08)

6 games on Saturday, 4 on Sunday in the final week before yet another International break.
England have 2 trips to Eastern Europe away to the Czech republic and Bulgaria.

Big game will be Liverpool v Leicester, Liverpool on a run but Jamie Vardy likes playing them and Salzburg showed the defence can be got at. Both need their injured players back Maddison and Matip.
Tottenham will be glad to be playing Brighton who are unlikely to score 7 goals against anyone 🤣
Man City should win as Wolves are playing in Turkey tonight, hopefully West Ham can keep up their good record against Palace, and the other games all look hard to pick.

Brighton v Tottenham
Burnley v Everton
Liverpool v Leicester
Norwich v Aston Villa
Watford v Sheff Utd
West Ham v Crystal Palace

Arsenal v Bournemouth
Man City v Wolves
Southampton v Chelsea
Newcastle v Man Utd

Good Luck All  🙂

  7. Interesting start, Lloris presenting Brighton a goal and probably breaking his arm as he fell over?

  8. Went for a Tottenham win thinking they can't play as bad again? turns out they are playing worse.
If Brighton had finishers like Munich it could have been much worse than 2-0 at half time.
"Hi Madrid do you still want Pochettino and Eriksen?" "no it's alright you keep them".

  10. Recent history said Tottenham would struggle but Brighton had only one goal in the last 5 games, so you just think that Tottenham would bounce back after Tuesday with Kane and Son hitting on the break.
Congrats to Brighton who played really well but the spuds were awful.

Nobody went for the Brighton win so no points for anyone.
Jamie Vardy must be gutted Gomez isn't playing :)

  11. Shock Horror!!! Liverpool get an injury time penalty at Anfield to win the game .. who would have predicted that :)
Other games Villa go mad, Burnley win with a set piece, Watford and Sheffield bore the pants of everyone.
On the plus side Leicester's dropped point means a West Ham win puts us 3rd again (please) :)
Hopefully I can find a feed?

  12. Some things never change, we lost more points to bad refereeing last season than any other team and so far this year we've been the only team to have a penalty against us retaken for encroachment even though it happens every time, and refs are rarely over ruled for "clear and obvious" mistakes unless it's us Bah!! rant over :(
