  9. Sickener, West Ham looked like taking the points even after the ref assisted equaliser, then they let Ayew stroll through most of the defence to snatch a last minute winner?

You never know what you're getting with Chelsea, Southampton on the up.
Villa win a game, new improved Arsenal scrape a draw, Everton scrape a win, and Watford grab a draw.

Would be good for my fantasy teams, but club loyalty hopes Leicester are still shell shocked by their 2 big defeats and West Ham actually turn up at last and turn in the performance of the season.
      We can all dream :D

    2. I am happy for the Model to be completely wrong and hopefully Mrs Gibbo, who is at the game, will see a slightly better West Ham, give the Foxes a right good seeing too. :)

    Conspiracy theory :)
How come Man City play 3 times in 6 days, and Liverpool play 3 in 8 days?
and Liverpool's next opponents both come from hard games against City, Wolves only 43 hours break and Sheff Utd 70 hours, City's next 2 against teams that have had 73 and 97 hours break.
I know the league is almost over, but it's as if the Premier league were favouring one particular team???

    1. My commiserations to Mrs Gibbo, we've been poor at home since the move just 25 wins in 66 games and other than beating Man Utd, Tottenham and Chelsea there has been very little to cheer :(

  22. I think Leicester were there for the taking today with all their stars rested, but we chose to play players like Sanchez and leave out Antonio and Snodgrass who are the only ones who make things tick.
Another 3 points thrown away so I reckon we'll have Moyes back by next week :(

Watched 2 games at once with Hammers on the net and Spuds v Norwich on Sky 1, Norwich looked pretty good and deserved the draw, unlucky when Pukki's armpit hairs were offside.
Should say that Kane is getting very clever mastering the dark arts.

Good wins for Brighton, Everton and 10 man Watford.
Some dubious VAR decisions today, no idea why Andy Carroll didn't get a penalty?

One game left, scores then (looks like I'm gonna be knocked off the top this week as Paulo and Paul are leading the way) :(

Who next? probably Moyes, Favourites are Moyes, Howe, Benitez, Hughton, Parker, Pulis or even Fat Sam, don't fancy any of them :(
Would love Pochettino but that's not going to happen, DiCanio would be inspiring but he's crazy and not a long term fix, leftfield option John Terry!! Barking boy, former Hammer, not really doing it as no.2 at Villa but I reckon he could bring a siege mentality to West Ham?

  28. Conspiracy theory 2
I thought VAR would be a good idea, worked well in World Cup 2018 when they were giving penalties that Ref's missed and highlighting dives etc, don't remember any armpit hair offsides their either.
The british version is just flawed, blatant penalties are not being given because they are not "clear and obvious" even though they are clear and obvious to everyone who watches the video, they are using millimetres to decide offides on a system even the manufacturers say isn't 100% and English ref's are refusing to check the screens, when it happens on a regular basis everywhere else for fear off having to change their minds and admit a mistake.
The fact we are using our own referee's at Stockley park instead of independant judges just stinks of corruption?

Vardy must be sick he's missing this one as he could have grabbed a handful today.

  42. Big change of luck for West Ham, played really well lots of pressing but really helped by Bournemouth being awful, getting a penalty after Noble stubbed his toe, and Creswell rightly getting his red card rescinded after making a good tackle. Moyes seems to have inspired Haller who looked like a different player, Snodgrass, Noble, Rice and Oggy were all good as usual but the others joined in today :)
Win for Man City and Norwich unlucky to concede a dubious goal at the end against Palace.
