Sickener, West Ham looked like taking the points even after the ref assisted equaliser, then they let Ayew stroll through most of the defence to snatch a last minute winner?
ReplyDeleteYou never know what you're getting with Chelsea, Southampton on the up.
Villa win a game, new improved Arsenal scrape a draw, Everton scrape a win, and Watford grab a draw.

The Model
4-0 to Leicester, Model if you were a real person I'd take a real dislike to you :)
DeleteWould be good for my fantasy teams, but club loyalty hopes Leicester are still shell shocked by their 2 big defeats and West Ham actually turn up at last and turn in the performance of the season.
We can all dream :D
I am happy for the Model to be completely wrong and hopefully Mrs Gibbo, who is at the game, will see a slightly better West Ham, give the Foxes a right good seeing too. :)

Paul
Gibbo fashionably late to the party again :)
ReplyDeleteConspiracy theory :)
How come Man City play 3 times in 6 days, and Liverpool play 3 in 8 days?
and Liverpool's next opponents both come from hard games against City, Wolves only 43 hours break and Sheff Utd 70 hours, City's next 2 against teams that have had 73 and 97 hours break.
I know the league is almost over, but it's as if the Premier league were favouring one particular team???
:)
You have to stop this Lee, its unhealthy 🤔🤣🙄
DeleteNothing personal Paul, I have good friends who are Liverpool fans :)
DeleteTrouble is they are all unbearable when Liverpool win, and whine and whinge about everything when it's not going their way :)

10 games and 7 different kick off times this weekend, 1@12:30, 3@15:00, 2@17:30, 1@19:45 today then 14:00, 16:30 and 18:00 tomorrow. TV really calling the shots nowadays :(
ReplyDeleteIt’s the bbc and them bring the perennial victims just like when Leicester won the league and several prominent figures had large bets on the outcome it’s not sport anymore
ReplyDeleteBah humbug!!!😂😂
Mrs Gibbo is at the hammers game
ReplyDeleteCan she bring a little lady luck to the hammers and kick start their season
My commiserations to Mrs Gibbo, we've been poor at home since the move just 25 wins in 66 games and other than beating Man Utd, Tottenham and Chelsea there has been very little to cheer :(
DeleteI think Leicester were there for the taking today with all their stars rested, but we chose to play players like Sanchez and leave out Antonio and Snodgrass who are the only ones who make things tick.
ReplyDeleteAnother 3 points thrown away so I reckon we'll have Moyes back by next week :(
Watched 2 games at once with Hammers on the net and Spuds v Norwich on Sky 1, Norwich looked pretty good and deserved the draw, unlucky when Pukki's armpit hairs were offside.
Should say that Kane is getting very clever mastering the dark arts.
Good wins for Brighton, Everton and 10 man Watford.
Some dubious VAR decisions today, no idea why Andy Carroll didn't get a penalty?
One game left, scores then (looks like I'm gonna be knocked off the top this week as Paulo and Paul are leading the way) :(
Week 20 Scores Day 1 (7 Games)
ReplyDeletePaul 9, Lee 7, Paulo 7, Biopunk 3, Gibbo 2, (Lawro 4, Avelino 6, Model 6)
Pellegrini pays the price for playing useless lump Sanchez and leaving out the only players who seem to give a toss.
ReplyDeleteWho next? probably Moyes, Favourites are Moyes, Howe, Benitez, Hughton, Parker, Pulis or even Fat Sam, don't fancy any of them :(
Would love Pochettino but that's not going to happen, DiCanio would be inspiring but he's crazy and not a long term fix, leftfield option John Terry!! Barking boy, former Hammer, not really doing it as no.2 at Villa but I reckon he could bring a siege mentality to West Ham?
After Chelsea's late show this has got interesting :)
ReplyDeleteWeek 20 Latest Scores (8 Games)
Lee 10, Paul 10, Paulo 10, Biopunk 6, Gibbo 2, (Lawro 4, Avelino 7, Model 7)
Next up Liverpool's well rested first XI vs Wolves walking wounded and reserves ... who's bitter? why would you get that impression? :)
Paulo probably regretting going for a draw, but it is Christmas and a time for Christmas miracles!! :)
Why in the name of Valhala did I go for a stupid 3-1 Chelsea win 🤬
DeleteConspiracy theory Lee about to go on overdrive 🤫🤪🤣
ReplyDeleteEven Liverpool fans are getting embarrassed :)
DeleteTraore on could be interesting, wonder how many times Wolves will need to put the ball in the net to get the equaliser?
Traore would look good in a red shirt 🤔
DeleteGlad to see they are using the Monday night football touch screen video for VAR tonight. Just drag and drop those Wolves players 😁
ReplyDeleteConspiracy theory 2
ReplyDeleteI thought VAR would be a good idea, worked well in World Cup 2018 when they were giving penalties that Ref's missed and highlighting dives etc, don't remember any armpit hair offsides their either.
The british version is just flawed, blatant penalties are not being given because they are not "clear and obvious" even though they are clear and obvious to everyone who watches the video, they are using millimetres to decide offides on a system even the manufacturers say isn't 100% and English ref's are refusing to check the screens, when it happens on a regular basis everywhere else for fear off having to change their minds and admit a mistake.
The fact we are using our own referee's at Stockley park instead of independant judges just stinks of corruption?
Have to agree with the offside rule. Think it should be any part of the core inside. Feet, arms and pit hair is just crazy. I'll take it today though 🤪
DeleteIn my world I got correct score at Anfield! Cheated by corrupt officials 💩🤬
ReplyDeleteNot actually seen it yet, just going on the comments by ex Liverpool players who despite obvious bias reckon the decisions were dubious at least?
DeleteUnlucky Paulo.
Thank god for VAR!! does sound like the Sheffield goal ruled out was a little bit more clear cut?
ReplyDeleteEnd of week 20, wins for Chelsea, Man City and LiVARpool :)
Week 20 Final Scores (10 Games)

ReplyDeleteGibbo late again, so at least 2 games missed but still 8 games left to pick.
Got a day of football with BT/Virgin showing everything, wife won't be pleased :)
ReplyDeleteThe VAR debate underway with Villa's goal ruled out because Wesley's heel was an inch offside, and Azpilicueta not really celebrating his goal for Chelsea expecting a VAR decision even though their was nothing wrong with it :(
Newcastle 1 v 1 Leicester
ReplyDeleteSouthampton 0 v 1 Tottenham
Watford 1 v 1 Wolves
Man City 3 v 1 Everton

2 Games done, win for Villa puts West Ham into the bottom 3 :(
ReplyDeleteBrilliant goal by the Iranian gets Brighton a draw, only Kepa stopping a Brighton win with 3 really good saves.
Week 21 Early Points (2 Games)
Biopunk 0, Gibbo 0, Lee 0, Paul 0, Paulo 0, (Lawro 0, Kojo 4, Model 3)
Things can only get better? hopefully :)
Really hard to feel sorry for Steve Bruce, but after Newcastle gifted Leicester 2 goals they then lost 3 players to injury just before half time, then minutes into the 2nd half Schar does his hamstring and no subs left.
ReplyDeleteVardy must be sick he's missing this one as he could have grabbed a handful today.
Easy win for Leicester, Watford on a Pearson inspired roll, Saints on a Ings inspired roll, Tottenham looking for a new manager??
ReplyDeleteNew Year, New Biopunk????? :)
Week 21 Early Points (5 Games)
Biopunk 6, Lee 1, Paulo 1, Gibbo 0, Paul 0, (Lawro 3, Kojo 5, Model 3)
3 games about to start, can Gollum inspire the Hammers? no Antonio and the team hasn't changed much. Worrying thing is Bournemouth's So Lanky hasn't scored in years so will probably get a hat trick today!!!
Big change of luck for West Ham, played really well lots of pressing but really helped by Bournemouth being awful, getting a penalty after Noble stubbed his toe, and Creswell rightly getting his red card rescinded after making a good tackle. Moyes seems to have inspired Haller who looked like a different player, Snodgrass, Noble, Rice and Oggy were all good as usual but the others joined in today :)
ReplyDeleteWin for Man City and Norwich unlucky to concede a dubious goal at the end against Palace.
Paulo revival in the points
Week 21 Early Points (8 Games)
Paulo 8, Biopunk 7, Lee 5, Paul 5, Gibbo 2, (Lawro 5, Kojo 6, Model 4)
One game left today and the Gooners are 1 up.
9½ hours of football later and it's time to watch something else on telly :)
ReplyDeleteArsenal shocking everyone with a really good performance, and more than that Ozil, Xhaka and David Luiz all remembered they are supposed to be good players.
Nothing to add as none of us expected that :)
Week 21 Day 1 Points (9 Games)
Paulo 8, Biopunk 7, Lee 5, Paul 5, Gibbo 2, (Lawro 5, Kojo 6, Model 4)
Paulo or Biopunk for the win, advantage Paulo.
Mark noble and the others need to hang their heads in shame alright Bournemouth shocking but last night showed how they hung Pellegrini out to dry! As they all to a man turned it on I mean who gave noble pace for Christmas? Lol and while I’m pleased they put a shift in let’s see what happens next week in sheffield
ReplyDeleteI'm more worried about Gillingham :)
DeleteI think Bournemouth would make anyone look good, but hopefully it's an upturn in form because we really need it.
Finish with a 2-0 which Lawro didn't go for?
ReplyDeleteWeek 21 Final Score (10 Games)
Paulo 9, Biopunk 8, Paul 8, Lee 6, Gibbo 2, (Lawro 6, Kojo 6, Model 7)
Congrats Paulo :)
F.A Cup up next, next Premier league starts on Friday 10th.
