  8. Man City v West Ham postponed due to weather, although the weather was fine in Sheffield 40 miles away?
Not sure if this is a good thing? will probably lose whatever team City put out, but Sterling, Laporte, Mendy, Zinchenko and Sane would have missed this one and they will probably all be fit when the game is re-arranged.

For obvious reasons I'm not a Sheff Utd fan, but they did play well again and deserved a win.
I was getting worried that Bournemouth were going to get points here, but glad they didn't :)

    Day 2 Scores (3 Games)
    Gibbo 5, Lee 5, Paulo 5, Biopunk 2, Paul 1, (Lawro 1, Katie 2)

    Continues on Friday

  11. Back again, I miss the old days of games all being played on the same day.
I see even the F.A Cup is at it, bad enough they are playing the 5th Round midweek but now it is being spread over 4 days.

    Wolves v Leicester 2-1
    Southampton v Burnley 2-1
    Norwich v Liverpool 0-3
    Aston Villa v Tottenham 2-2
    Arsenal v Newcastle 1-0
    Chelsea v Man Utd 2-1

I'll stick with my West Ham to lose prediction sadly :(

Hoping Fury beats Wilder but wouldn't want to put money on it?

    1. I see you fancy the Hammers to keep it down to 4 now :)
Obviously won't accept the Friday game (better for the average), but at least you didn't do a Lawro and claim a correct result despite no sign of a prediction on the day!!

  15. Win for Burnley away after a comedy goal and 2 crackers, Liverpool scrape a win with a VAR assist.

    Day 4 Scores (6 Games)
    Gibbo 7, Paulo 7, Lee 6, Biopunk 3, Paul 2, (Lawro 2, Katie 3)

  16. The trouble with all these staggered games is that you lose interest, I've only just remembered to check yesterday's scores :(

    Day 5 Scores (8 Games)
    Gibbo 8, Paulo 8, Lee 7, Biopunk 4, Paul 4, (Lawro 4, Katie 4)

Shame about Son's 95th minute goal as I would have been leading :(
I need a Chelsea win tonight and then hope West Ham pull off a shock result?

  17. Sounds like Chelsea haven't paid their VAR bill?

    Day 6 Scores (9 Games)
    Gibbo 8, Paulo 8, Lee 7, Biopunk 4, Paul 4, (Lawro 4, Katie 5)

Still open even though everyone has gone for City, an outright winner if it finishes 3-0, 3-1 or 4-1.
With VAR disliking both teams it will probably be 0-0!!

  18. The longest week ever has finally ended :)

I suppose West Ham did well to keep it down to 2, but never looked like scoring :(
Sadly I was hoping City got one more just so I could get a small bit of happiness out of a bad day!!

Final Scores Week 26 (10 Games)
    Gibbo 9, Paulo 9, Lee 8, Biopunk 5, Paul 5, (Lawro 5, Katie 6)

So after all that it's a drawn week.
Congrats to Gibbo and Paulo :)

Back with a slightly more normal week later :)
