It should have been a Friday start this week, but the Villa Newcastle game has been postponed as Newcastle have the lurgy. ๐ท (* week off for Jack ๐คฟ *)
So first kick off is Saturday lunchtime at 12:30
4 matches Saturday, 4 on Sunday and one on Monday.
I suppose none of the games are easy to call again, before last week you would have said Fulham will get a hiding but now you never know.
Hopefully we will all get better at this predicting lark, as it's not been a good season so far.
Aston Villa v Newcastle (Postponed)
Burnley v Everton
Man City v Fulham
West Ham v Man Utd
Chelsea v Leeds
West Brom v Crystal Palace
Sheff Utd v Leicester
Tottenham v Arsenal
Liverpool v Wolves
Brighton v Southampton

Thought i would post slightly closer this week. Being first didn't fare too well, albeit A late disallowed goal for the Villa..๐ค
Proof I'm getting old.
ReplyDeleteBig Match revisited on Saturday mornings, this week from 1975.
Mud, sand and a bit of grass, dodgy haircuts, terraces full of swaying fans, no VAR, refs with comb overs trying to hide their bald spots.
Just Brilliant :)
Gutted about the result as West Ham played brilliant, one up for 65 minutes and should have been 3 or 4 up.
ReplyDeleteGame changed after Pogba's super goal which shouldn't have stood as the ball was yards out of play in the build up (VAR don't have a sideline camera?) after that 2 more quick goals killed it.
Earlier games, a draw with Burnley and Everton, dull game.
Man City started well but took it easy after going 2 up.
One game left today.
PULISIC!!!
ReplyDeleteYes that late late goal made the difference, good comeback from Chelsea.
ReplyDeleteDay 1 Scores (9 Games)
Biopunk 6, Lee 5, Paul 5, Gibbo 2, Paulo 1, (Lawro 5, Sister 2)
Better than last week already for 3 of us :)
Wins for Crystal Palace who hit 5 at 10 man West Brom, Leicester grab a last minute winner, Tottenham over Arsenal and Liverpool who take their chances to end up with an easy 4 goal win.
ReplyDeleteDay 1 Scores (9 Games)
Lee 11, Biopunk 9, Paul 8, Paulo 6, Gibbo 3, (Lawro 13, Sister 9)
Wow double figures, but still losing to Lawro.
Bio can still win
Well done Lee!
DeleteCheers Bio :)
DeleteWin for Southampton with a dubious penalty.
ReplyDeleteConsidering only 9 games this week it's been a good week for scoring.
3 best of the season and 2 equal bests.
Week 11 Final Scores (9 Games) *just noticed I've been writing 9 games on all the days*
Lee 11, Biopunk 10, Paulo 9, Paul 8, Gibbo 3, (Lawro 13, Sister 9)
Overall it's a win for Lawro, but I'm very happy with 11 points and well done Biopunk with 10
Congrats to Me :)
Yet another Friday game next week (Covid permitting), West Ham off to Leeds.
