  8. Win for Newcastle, not a total surprise as no Zaha means no Palace.
Only shock was Joe Linton scoring.
The scores on the doors all say zero.

On to tomorrow to see if Brighton do their usual trick and play really well but manage to lose.
Man City who usually score 5 against Burnley, might actually just score goals instead of all that tiki taka stuff they've started to play this season?

  9. Brighton v Liverpool draw, not a great game but all the talk about the ref and VAR even though all the decisions were correct. Klopp blaming everyone else as usual, mainly the TV companies and Chris Wilder this week?
Man City doing what they normally do against Burnley with a 5-0, City taking their chances for a change.
Great result for Leeds at Everton, only 1-0 despite 38 shots in the game, and then outdone by West Brom vs Sheff Utd who managed 39 shots for a 1 goal leaving Sheffield bottom, which should please Klopp (and a few West Ham fans) :)

    Day 2 Scores (5 Games)
    Paul 2, Biopunk 1, Gibbo 1, Lee 1, Paulo 1, (Lawro 1, Guest Paul 1)
The West Brom win making all the difference to the scores :)

  10. Wins for Man Utd, Wolves and a yawn-a-thon at Chelsea (Jose's bus goes back home).

    Day 3 Scores (8 Games)
    Biopunk 4, Gibbo 2, Lee 2, Paul 2, Paulo 2, (Lawro 2, Guest Paul 4)

Bio grabbing a 3 pointer in the last game to upset this really low scoring week

  11. Nobody went for the Fulham win?
One game left and still wide open.

  12. Scrappy game but a good win for West Ham.
I like Jack Grealish but tonight's diving exhibition was a bit embarrassing, sadly the ref seemed to fall for it everytime? Justice in second half as Villa got a mystery penalty, despite no foul happening but Watkins hit the bar.

Week 10 Final Scores (10 Games)
    Paulo 5, Biopunk 4, Lee 3, Gibbo 2, Paul 2, (Lawro 5, Guest Paul 4)

The 2-1 gives Paulo (and Lawro) 3 points giving them both 5 overall.
Probably the lowest scoring week we've ever had, but they all count.
So it's congrats to Paulo :)

Villa back in action on Friday, so it's another early start next week.

  13. If wiki to be believed Peter bankes the rec from last night was brought up a villa fan and I agree grealish is a fantastic footballer who cheats the one where he went down holding the wrong knee! Maradona for all his faults never dived and he was kicked a lot!!
Still much needed win for myself

  14. Saw the one in the first half where Grealish's legs buckled seconds before Coufal touched him, and thought to myself that explains why he's the most fouled player.
One good thing about VAR is it does rule out some of the ref's bias, the offside goal that he gave looked well off at first glance but a lot closer after all the lines were drawn.
