ReplyDeleteSpain beat Switzerland on penalties, amazing end considering Spain missed the 1st penalty and the Swiss scored all 5 against France but it ended 3-1 to Spain?
Went for a Belgian win, but cheering on Italy again. 2-1 at half time.
Not sure why but have always cheered on the Italians (except against England)
Win for Italy, shame for Spinazzola who has been a real star in their team.

ReplyDeleteBig one tonight, I am sucked in again 😉, still not having Kane, Sterling, Walker or Rice. I wasn't having Pickford, but think he has now earned his place in this campaign, made some good saves and distribution has been as good as any.
Will be surprised if Southgate does anything different. The Germany match was like 10 vs 10 with Kane and Werner playing.
Really is our best chance of making a proper final. Let's hope we can improve on the first four games and the boys show the world how good we really are...
Hoping he doesn't underestimate Ukraine, I guess he will leave out Rice, Phillips or both as they are on bookings and maybe Maguire as well, worrying that Henderson might play.

Sterling has suprised me, seems to have regained some of his form after a poor season.
Foden and Mount haven't lived up to hype yet ... but still time.
Denmark win but the Czechs were unlucky.
