  1. First 2 games have bitten the dust, Leeds will probably be grateful for a few Covid cases given their massive injury crisis and poor form, Liverpool will be gutted as they would have fancied improving their goal difference. Other Leeds and Watford games must be a doubt?

Lawro guests for Week 19 are actual celebrities for a change, Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith from Tears for Fears. Still going after all these years.

Random info - of the 12 games postponed due to Covid so far 7 were due to be screened live, 6 by BT and only 1 by Sky. Considering Sky have almost 3 times as many games as BT it's a good conspiracy theory :)

  3. Well it's a MAD WORLD at the moment, I BELIEVE the 7 games left are still going ahead. Will try to give you a SHOUT if any CHANGE.
Would be HEAD OVER HEELS if the Hammers can get back to winning ways, because EVERYBODY WANTS TO RULE THE WORLD .... but enough with the Tears for Fears puns :)

    Tottenham v Crystal Palace 2-1
    West Ham v Southampton 3-0

  9. Nice to have you back Paulo, shame our game wasn't called off :(

These games are coming round too quick.
No points for anyone in the last game, Newcastle get a point but lose their 2 best players.
Man Utd under Ragnorak managing to look worse than they did with Ole?

Week 19 Final Scores (7 games)
    Lee 7, Paul 5, Gibbo 3, Biopunk 2, Paulo -, (Lawro 6, Roland 3, Curt 3)

So that's a win for me, so a very quick Congrats :)
Next week kicks off in about 13 hours

  13. Never mind Bio, Paul still sleeping.
Early games Palace hit 3 early goals to beat Norwich, Tottenham get a draw with 10 man Southampton.
West Ham come back from an early shock to hammer Watford and their refereeing team 4-1, the advantage of Rice being suspended was Soucek getting forward and having a good penalty taker on the pitch, although we should have had 3 pens and they seemed desperate to find a reason to disallow Bowen's goal.

    Early scores (3 games)
    Gibbo 5, Lee 2, Paulo 1, Biopunk -, Paul -, (Lawro 4, James 1)
    Good start for Gibbo

    ReplyDelete
  14. Bit unezpected, Leicester with all their injuries and thrashed 2 days ago, and Liverpool rested and full strength.

    Week 20 Day 1 scores (4 games)
    Gibbo 5, Lee 2, Paulo 1, Biopunk 0, Paul -, (Lawro 4, James 1)

Another game postponed so just 3 to go

    ReplyDelete
  15. Man City scraping a win against an under strength Brentford team, and it sounds like Chelsea were lucky to get a draw even if Brighton did wait till injury time to score.

    Week 20 Day 2 scores (6 games)
    Gibbo 6, Lee 3, Paulo 2, Biopunk 1, Paul -, (Lawro 5, James 2)

One game to go, but that's another win for Gibbo as we've both gone for a draw.

    *
    Brentford v Aston Villa 0-2

    Leeds v Burnley 1-1
    Southampton v Newcastle 1-0
    Chelsea v Liverpool 1-2
    *
    Man Utd v Wolves 2-0

  17. Man Utd get a win against Covid hit Burnley, guess Sean Dyche didn't fancy playing twice a week for the last few months of the season.

Week 20 Final scores (7 games)
    Gibbo 6, Lee 3, Paulo 3, Biopunk 2, Paul 1, (Lawro 6, James 3)

Overall a draw between Gibbo and Lawrenson, but Gibbo wins the bit that matters.
    Congrats Gibbo :)

Already one game down in Week 21 which kicks off at 12:30 on Saturday

    ReplyDelete
  18. Lawro guest for week 21 is Dan McCarthy, singer with the band Kawala.
Don't know them but he's a West Ham fan so probably alright :)

2 games off now could be more, Guessing the Leeds and Everton games might be at risk?
Postponements etting a bit ridiculous, should all listen to the Sean Dyche speech :)

  22. I could say Arsenal played well, but the constant whining, play acting and surrounding the ref after every decision just makes me glad they lost.

  24. 3 up at half time and it still ends up nail biting? was a bit negative in the 2nd half which almost cost the points. Still can't believe we got a dubious VAR decision :)
Other games Man City win again and Tottenham scrape a win with a last minute goal.

    Week 21 Day 1 Scores (3 Games)
    Biopunk 3, Lee 3, Gibbo 1, Paul 1, Paulo 1, (Lawro 2, Dan 1)

  25. Sunday done, lots of goals and a few surprises.
Wins for Brighton, Leeds and Brentford and a draw in the big game.
Not really understanding why Chelsea pay £100m for a striker, who has scored in the last 2 games and leave him out?
Mane very lucky to avoid red card before he scored but at least VAR is consistent (only check if not a big 6 team).

    Week 21 Day 2 Scores (7 Games)
    Biopunk 5, Lee 5, Gibbo 3, Paulo 3, Paul 1, (Lawro 4, Dan 3)

One game left and as Bio, Gibbo and myself have all gone for 2-1
it means a 1-1 draw could give Paulo a win?

Week 21 Final Scores (8 Games)
    Biopunk 5, Lee 5, Gibbo 3, Paulo 3, Paul 1, (Lawro 4, Dan 3)

It's a draw, just 5 points and nobody got a 3 pointer this week.
Congrats to Biopunk and Me :)

Back with an FA Cup special, and early start to Week 22
