ReplyDeleteI do copy and paste with no problems?
ReplyDeleteI do copy and paste with no problems?
ReplyDeleteUsed phone that time, not logged in
ReplyDeleteAnyway just Bio's to come :)
ReplyDeleteFirst game done, Southampton played well but didn't take their chances and Fernandes did for Man U
ReplyDeletePoint each Carpet, Paul, Sutton and Guest.
I never use cut and paste so could be on to something Paul your mobile has blogspot imbedded so will always work
ReplyDeleteI will try cut and paste for week 5
I tried on PC and Mobile, chrome and Edge, all failed
ReplyDeleteCan only say I've tried 5 different devices (PC, 2 Mobiles, 2 Fire Tablets) 3 of them had never accessed this site before.
ReplyDeleteMultiple web browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Silk, Edge). typed and used copy and paste.
Bio posts from Canada, Paulo posted from Greece, I'm posting from Southend.
All of them have published, so really no idea why others are having problems posting?
I am also signed in with Google, maybe its that?
ReplyDeleteI am signed in with Google
DeleteAlways works just typing, just posting the scores, the most important part 🤣
ReplyDeleteWins for Man U, Brighton, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City. Brentford draw with Everton.
ReplyDeleteMan City looked like the Palace bogey was going to hit again, but now they have Haaland.
Liverpool get 9 against the Prem's whipping boys, with 9 different scorers, and Salah never scored or assisted?
Chelsea win with 10 men for an hour, Brighton go joint top with another win.
One game left today, scores later
Ack! Wasn't the posting problem, it was forgetting to post this week.
ReplyDelete(Looks like there is a pasting problem with Firefox, according to the latest update, so that might be the culprit...)
Aston Villa v West Ham 2-2
Wolves v Newcastle 1-2
Nottm Forest v Tottenham 1-2
No worries Bio, assumed you'd forgotten.
ReplyDeleteUse Firefox on PC, and tried copy/paste using Firefox on mobile yesterday both worked so don't think that's it?
Last game Arsenal scrape a win.
Day 1 Scores (7 Games)
Carpet 8, Paul 6, Lee 4, Paulo 4, Gibbo 3, Biopunk -, (Sutton 7, Ross 5)
West Ham really poor for 75 minutes, but Villa worse. A wins a win :)
ReplyDeleteWolves v Newcastle a draw, me seeing result thinking "great I'm back in this" then finding out I went for a Newcastle win?
One game left Carpet and Paulo on 8, everyone except Carpet going for an away win.

wow, 4th attempt to post worked. I tried pasting into notepad and then pasting, didn't work. I then removed the spaces, didn't work. I then pasted as 'Paste as plain text' or Ctrl + Shift + V....that did work. I still maintain its a pasting problem, even though half of you cannot replicate the problem 😁
ReplyDeleteThe internet is an odd thing, had this conversation on another site.
ReplyDeletePeople using the exact same browsers and updated AV's getting different results from the same files downloaded.
Both of us have tried multiple devices, browsers etc to replicate faults but cannot get the same result as others have had.
Just came to the conclusion that "It's hard to fix something you cannot find fault with".
So can only say keep trying :)
Anyway this weeks Sutton guest is Tom Dowse, guitarist with the band Dry Cleaning who I quite like.
Predictions in from Carpet, Paul and me so far. Guessing Paulo and Biopunk will at some point, and just maybe Gibbo is having a posting problem? (can see a link?)
Okay just had a Firefox update before posting this, let's see if that helps.
ReplyDeleteSeems to work now?
DeleteI can see my comment after I leave the page & or use other browsers to look at NBTF.
Both Paulo, Paul & I posted last night/this morning, roughly about an hour apart. I clicked the "Notify Me" thingie down below, so I have all the posts showing up in email. I've screen-shooted the emails and sent links below.
Gibbo just posted before this one.
Here's links:

Wow looks like it stayed on this time
ReplyDeleteI can see it, even if Lee can't
DeleteWell thanks for those screenshots Biopunk
ReplyDeleteI'm totally confused what is going on now???????
Will work through them and add them in.
Trying using my mobile with safari, not logged in through Google
ReplyDeleteNow my Wi-Fi not working 🤔
So mobile data
That worked as well
DeleteThanks Biopunk for the screen shots which have totally confused me?
ReplyDeleteI can see Carpet's prediction posted 25/08
I can see my own at 9:40 today,
Paul's at 13:23 (but not the one at 13:19)
Gibbo's at 19:11

This is a headache
Yeah, subtract 8 hours from the email time stamps to get the correct time for you over there.
Delete(Eight hours behind over here in the colonies!)
It's complicated enough without bringing that into it :)
DeleteReceived before kick off is good enough
Wins for Southampton and Fulham, draws in other two.
ReplyDeleteA couple of us wondering why we bothered?
Day 1 Scores (4 Games)
Biopunk 3, Gibbo 3, Carpet 2, Paul 1, Lee 0, Paulo 0, (Sutton 3, Tom 0)
West Ham get a draw with Tottenham, probably deserved a win on 2nd half performance. Unlucky own goal, the usual post hit, Bowen kicked every time he was on the ball, Kane whining in the ref's ear the whole game.
ReplyDeleteWin for Arsenal, Bournemouth keep a clean sheet.
Man City win and Haaland grabs another hat-trick.
Liverpool win in the 8th minute of the 5 minutes added Klopp time.
Gutted about the 6-0 to City as I changed my mind at the last minute after thinking he might rest Haaland? :(
Day 2 Scores (9 Games)
Biopunk 7, Carpet 7, Gibbo 6, Paul 4, Lee 3, Paulo 3, (Sutton 9, Tom 4)
Still up for grabs tomorrow
This is a line ************************************************************************************
ReplyDeleteSeems all the unpublished comments were marked as spam for some reason?
ReplyDeleteI've no idea why but obviously doesn't class all posts from a person as spam, otherwise nothing would get through.
I cannot see a way to stop this, other than I've marked all those posts as "not spam" and they seem to have published now. Seems Google AI picks up on something in the posts (although actual spam seems to be getting posted on older posts (just deleted a load).
Hoping this will sort out the problem?
If not at least I know where to look to "unspam" your posts :)
That concludes Week 5
ReplyDeleteMan Utd ok so much better without Maguire and Shaw (worrying for England),
Leicester terrible looking like relegation candidates at the moment, no service to Vardy at all.
Week 5 Final Scores (10 Games)
Gibbo 9, Carpet 8, Biopunk 7, Paul 4, Lee 3, Paulo 3, (Sutton 10, Tom 4)
Overall a first win for Lawro replacement Chris Sutton
Our winner is Gibbo thanks to the correct score tonight.
Congrats Gibbo :)
Week 6 starts 12:30 Saturday
Post above (will edit it tomorrow, just explaining why I think some of you have had problems?)
