  4. This is getting silly, an actual spam (1st comment) published straight away?
Paul and Gibbo's (not including gambling links) get blocked as potential spam???

  5. Ecuador v Senegal 1-2 good game
Netherlands v Qatar 2-0 easy win
Iran v USA 0-1 Americans hanging on at the end after bossing most of the game
Wales v England 0-3 average 1st half but 2 goals early in the 2nd won it.

  6. Australia v Denmark 1-0 Danes out, Aussies through.
Tunisia v France 1-0 The French reserves not a patch on the first team, Tunisia all over by them until they brought on some regulars.
Poland v Argentina 0-2 Argies doing enough despite Messi's penalty miss.
Saudi Arabia v Mexico 1-2 Best game so far, Mexico brilliant except for putting the ball in the net. Both teams out.

    Day 11 Scores (40 Games)
    Gibbo 30, Lee 29, Paulo 21, Paul 18, (Sutton 34)

  7. Canada v Morocco 1-2 finally Put Aguerd in my fantasy team, scores own goal .. sigh.
Croatia v Belgium 0-0 The oldies match, Belgians out and Martinez gone.
    Costa Rica v Germany 2-4 + Japan v Spain 2-1
Did wonder at the start if Spain wanted 2nd as it would mean Morocco in the last 16 rather than Croatia?
Plenty of twists and turns in the 2nd half, for a few minutes Spain and Germany were out when Costa Rica led.
But with Germany needing the win they came back to win which made it easy for Spain. Mind you I have no idea why the 2nd Japan goal was allowed as it was clearly out of play?
Yet another dubious VAR decision in a tournament full of them.

    Day 12 Scores (44 Games)
    Gibbo 33, Lee 31, Paulo 22, Paul 21, (Chris Sutton 38)

  8. Ghana v Uruguay 0-2
So much to hate about Uragay, but when they're not diving, cheating etc they play some good football.
Got the win but out, great to see Suarez crying at the end :)
South Korea v Portugal 2-1 Bit of a shock but Portugal were already through
Cameroon v Brazil 1-0 92nd minute winner for Cameroon over Brazil's reserves, Aboubakar scores and gets sent off!!
Serbia v Switzerland 2-3 Swiss through

    Day 13 Scores (48 Games)
    Gibbo 33, Lee 31, Paulo 22, Paul 21, (Chris Sutton 40)

Only Chris Sutton scored today increasing his lead.
