  4. Another problem with this blog :(
Not only posts going to spam, now even though I'm logged in if I try to comment it logs me out?
    hence the anonymous update.

First game done - the Dutch playing some great football and Gakpo looking like a future star.
Point for all playing, where are you Paulo
    Accepted Gibbo's 1 minute late as it's not a 3 pointer :)

  6. France v Poland 3-1 Mbappe showing his class, Poland better than expected but couldn't live with him.
    England v Senegal 3-0
Bellingham and Henderson were the only England players having a decent game even before they combined for the first goal. Luckily everyone else improved after that

    Day 15 Scores (52 Games)
    Gibbo 39, Lee 35, Paul 25, Paulo 24, (Chris Sutton 44)

  7. Japan v Croatia 1-1 (90 Min), 1-1 (120) Pens 1-3
Fairly dull game, Japan starting best but run out of steam.
    Japanese penalties were awful.

    Brazil v South Korea 4-1
Korea blown away in the 1st half, Alison did have to make 4-5 good saves so they saved some face in the 2nd.

    Day 16 Scores (54 Games)
    Gibbo 40, Lee 36, Paul 29, Paulo 24, (Chris Sutton 48)

  8. Morocco v Spain 0-0, Morocco won on pens 3-0
Neither team looked likely to score in the game, Spain worse than Japan at penalties.

    Portugal v Switzerland 6-1
Ronaldo replacement Goncalo Ramos takes his chance with 3 goals and an assist (even assisted the Swiss goal), Portugal brilliant after some iffy performances.

    Day 17 Scores (56 Games)
    Gibbo 41, Lee 37, Paul 32, Paulo 25, (Chris Sutton 48)

Two whole days without football, what are we going to do :)
