Premier Predictions (Week 34)

Squeaky Bum time at the top of the tables.  🌕
Premier League, Championship, and more importantly the NBTF Predictions league.

A mixed week with 3 games postponed due to the FA Cup, and 6 re-arranged games.
As I normally do at this time of year the Cup games are included (90 minute rule applies)
So apologies to those allergic to Cup games.  🏆

4 games on Saturday, 5 games on Sunday, 1 on Tuesday, 4 on Wednesday and 1 on Thursday.

Liverpool and Arsenal both have 2 league games before Man City play again.

At the bottom Luton need a win to put pressure on Everton and Forest who play each other on Sunday.

  1. Sutton's guest is singer Sam Tompkins who has had a couple of minor hits?

Bad week for the English teams in Europe
Villa scrape through on penalties, premium shithousery from Martinez :)
Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool and West Ham all out
West Ham giving it a good go, despite the Germans favourite ref having a terrible game
12 yellows 2 reds including the bench, Antonio fouled numerous times never got a free kick.
Lucky late deflected goal to keep the Germans undefeated this season :(

  6. Big wins for Brentford and Burnley, Arsenal beat injury hit Wolves.
Man City scrape a win in the Cup, thanks to Chelsea's poor finishing.

    Day 1 Scores (4 Games)
    Gibbo 4, Lee 4, Biopunk 2, Paul 1, Paulo 1, (Sutton 3, Sam 1, Model 2)

  7. Cup Semi ended up being a classic, Man Utd 3 up with 20 to go.
Coventry came back to draw with a last minute debatable penalty.
(a bit gutted about that as I went for a 3-2 Utd win, but hey ho).
Then a toenail away from victory when VAR disallowed the late Coventry winner at the end of extra time.

Everton win the 6 pointer at the bottom, Villa and Liverpool both win 3-1.
Not much to say on Palace's hammering of us, except to say again that if Eze and Olise are both playing they are a really good team :(

    Day 2 Scores (9 Games)
    Biopunk 7, Gibbo 7, Lee 7, Paul 5, Paulo 5, (Sutton 6, Sam 3, Model 4)

  10. Everton beat Liverpool, Everton's best result of the season. Is Salah's mind already in Saudi?
Palace beat Newcastle, Bournemouth win at Wolves.
Man Utd come back from 2-1 down to win 4-2.

Not many points today, all on Tomorrow
    Day 4 Scores (14 Games)
    Lee 9, Biopunk 8, Gibbo 8, Paul 6, Paulo 6, (Sutton 9, Sam + Zack 5, Model 5)

  11. 4-0 Win for Man City

Week 34 Final Scores (15 Games)
    Lee 10, Biopunk 9, Gibbo 9, Paul 7, Paulo 7, (Sutton 10, Sam + Zack 6, Model 6)

Overall a draw between Chris Sutton and Myself with 10 points
117 predictions, just 4 correct scores so nobody did that well
But a much needed win for Me :)
