Premier Predictions (Week 24)

6 Games on Saturday, 3 on Sunday, 1 on Monday

Possibly Liverpool's hardest game of the season if Bournemouth play the way they have recently?
Arsenal v Man City recently a top of the table clash, but neither team in top form.
Monday West Ham go to Chelsea, I would like to think we had a chance but the referees usually decide we don't 🙄
Some big games in the relegation fight at Everton and Ipswich

(* The re-arranged Mersey derby is officially a Week 24 game, but as it's not till the 12th February I'm going to tag it onto the Week 25 predictions *)

Nottm Forest v Brighton
Bournemouth v Liverpool
Everton v Leicester
Ipswich v Southampton
Newcastle v Fulham
Wolves v Aston Villa
*
Brentford v Tottenham
Man Utd v Crystal Palace
Arsenal v Man City
Chelsea v West Ham

Good Luck All  😀

  2. Sutton's guest this week is Anton Pearson, guitarist with art-rock band Squid?
Art rock, is that painting guitars?

  9. Forest superb, Elanga and Wood ripping Brighton apart.
Used to like watching Brighton, but cannot abide their sneering manager Hurzeler so glad he got a thrashing :)

  10. Wins for Nottm Forest, Liverpool, Everton, Southampton, Fulham, Wolves
More shocks, Southampton winning bad news for Ipswich.
Newcastle and Villa losing, Liverpool taking Bournemouth seriously.
Everton beating Leicester not a surprise but scoring 4 and going above Tottenham :) Moyes now only a point behind West Ham with 3 wins on the trot.

    Day 1 Scores (6 Games)
    Paul 5, Biopunk 2, Gibbo 2, Lee 2, Paulo 1, (Sutton 1, Anton 1, Model 3)

Paul getting the Liverpool score right, not much else from the rest of us.

  11. Moyes now only a point behind West Ham with 3 wins on the trot....There is a touch of irony there

    1. The wisdom of listening to social media pundits and failed former footballers, Moyes is a good manager.
Yes it was probably time for a change but only if you were going to upgrade and Lopetegui and Pellegrini didn't really fit that bill. Jury out on Potter as he did good things at Brighton and Swansea but showed his limitations at Chelsea.
But considering my predictions this week what do I know? ...... :D

  12. More surprise results
Tottenham win a game, away at Brentford who did have a good home record.
Palace win At Man Utd, maybe not such a shock.
Arsenal hit Man City for five

    Day 2 Scores (9 Games)
    Paul 5, Paulo 4, Biopunk 3, Gibbo 2, Lee 2, (Sutton 2, Anton 3, Model 4)

Considering Paul and Paulo have a 3 pointer each, it's been a bad scoring week so far.
Unless West Ham pull of a miracle, my worst score of the season :(

  13. Evan Ferguson - 13 goals in 4 seasons at Brighton and an injury record to rival Callum Wilson.
Is he the answer to our goalscoring problem? better option than Fullkrug I guess.
Good news we got James Ward-Prowse back, didn't understand why we loaned him out?

  14. Oh well got one prediction right, Chelsea's equaliser Bowen fouled in the build up and cucaracha offside when crossing for Neto to score but ref and VAR let it go?. Own goal deciding it :(

Week 24 Final Scores (10 Games)
    Paul 6, Biopunk 4, Paulo 4, Gibbo 3, Lee 2, (Sutton 5, Anton 6, Model 5)

Overall a draw between Paul and Sutton's guest Anton
In our competition it's a first win in a while for Paul
    Congrats Paul :)

Bad scoring week, lowest winning total of the season and my lowest score :(

    Caribou Cup midweek
    FA Cup next weekend
Premier league back next Wednesday, there is also a Friday game so watch out for it.
