You have to admit no matter who you support that on their day Arsenal play some of the most entertaining football you are likely to see, if they had a decent keeper and a top quality striker who didn't keep getting injured I think they would probably be serious contenders for the Premier league and Champions League.Love or hate Wenger he keeps coming up with a selection of virtual unknowns and turning them into quality players who all seem comfortable in the simple act of passing the ball which seems so difficult for a number of our so called world class England players.
I know they tend to struggle when the opposition decide to kick lumps out of them but tonight's 6-0 win over Braga was a joy to watch.
I was watching Chelsea on the computer and the Gooners on TV at the same time. It was hard to concentrate on both at the same time.
ReplyDeleteArsenal's football is pleasing on the eye but I would prefer trophys to be honest. They get too much good publicity really and they'll sink sometime after January and win nothing again. Of that I'm sure.
I like watching Arsenal but know you're right, this week they go to Sunderland and it's the sort of game they'll probably lose.
