Arrivederci Millwall

Nick Perry's 1990 play about a Millwall fan and his mates going to the 1982 World Cup in Spain, The main character Billy has just lost his brother in the Falklands so is out for revenge.
Not a classic, but watchable because it brings back memories of the era :)
It's out on DVD soon and is being sold as the play that inspired "the football factory" which isn't a great recommendation!! although the best character in that was also called Billy.

Thanks to "keepsonburnin" for uploading this

  2. I hated this back in the days it first came out, as a play - I cant believe Perry actually made money from this. A lot of the script is 'nicked' from The Panorama 'Millwall' documentary from 1977 & the Millwall Firm's leader in this play is a black chap called Cass- cant think where he got that idea from,LOL. Even the shop lifting part is taken from a real event, in which a certain firm left calling cards after walking into a designer shop mob handed. Still a good share though - Thank you
