  3. Welcome back GS, we've had a lot of rain and even a bit of snow down towards Longy's area and the long nights have begun, usual British November :)
did you manage to see a game while you was over there?

  4. well i watched celtic v barca in a bar with a shed load of barca fans including various inlaws and had a blast ( iwas the only one cheering for Celtic who got standing ovations from the locals)but then on the sunday got to actually experience a game live. it was the local team called SD Ponferradina v Hercules CF spanish second division teams. Ponferrdina won 1-0 and it was also brilliant, great atmosphere, lots of fun ,drinking bottles of local wine in the stands, getting ripped and everyone was very friendly. if you get a chance you should go.its a town in northwest spain called Ponferrada near where mrs. gobshyte is from.its great really relaxed,a great place to go out, really cheap.a round for 6 people cost 6 euro.and its just spanish there, no brits and irish smashing it up like tenerife etc.the locals love the brits and irish so go and have agreat time. you wont regret it

  9. it was 40 degree heat beer 2 quid a pint and the "appetiser" i watched was the yids being comprehensivly beaten then watching their "fans" who were giving my 12 year old son abuse for wearing an irons shirt and how many they were going to win by watching them skulk away to the sounds of bubbles (thanks to half a dozen gooners and mancs joining in) priceless!!they certainly know how to make friends lol

  10. Funny that when I've been watching games on holiday nearly every supporter of other teams I meet tells me "yeah the Hammers are my second favourite team" or "always liked them", can't think it has anything to do with the fact that I'm a 6'2" 16 stone skinhead with "an evil stare" according to the wife haha :)

  11. Hmmm... no Longy yet, although 4 games haven't kicked off yet and that could be 12 points?

I'm hoping Gobby gets the next one right :)

  15. Brilliant Gobby I'd love to give you 10 points for that prediction but the others would probably complain :)

    Half a game left and it's - Paulo 11, Biopunk 8, Lee 6, Gobshyte 6
Only a 3-1 Chelsea win can stop Paulo now

  16. Well done Paulo :)
    Paulo 12, Biopunk 8, Lee 6, Gobshyte 6

No Longy for some reason this week, but the more I see of Torres the more I agree with him, I reckon he needs to go on loan to somewhere he might gain some confidence like Southend or Glasgow Rangers?

  20. Sorry to hear about your computer, but better than me thinking that your non appearance might have been down to you getting arrested at Stamford bridge last week :)
Anyway thought it was Windows 8 these days (I'm still struggling with this Vista laptop so don't have a clue about Windows 7, bring back XP).
