Premier Predictions (Week 16)

Here we go again, 7 games on Saturday, 3 games on Sunday.
City v Arsenal is the stand out game, if Arsenal get anything here they must be considered serious challengers which injuries permitting I think they are.
The other big game is sadly a relegation six-pointer at Upton Park, injuries are hitting us hard with Downing the latest casualty after Flanagan's diabolical tackle last week.

Man City v Arsenal
Cardiff v West Brom
Chelsea v C Palace
Everton v Fulham
Newcastle v Southampton
West Ham v Sunderland
Hull v Stoke
Aston Villa v Man Utd
Norwich v Swansea
Tottenham v Liverpool

Went with all recent form in the model except City/Arsenal game 3-0 to City seemed harsh. Also had to remain neutral on the Liverpool game.

  7. All in, must do that betflurry review so AJ comes back :)

Well I've got a nasty dose of man flu, which on the upside means I can watch all my footie this week in a different room, as she doesn't want me coughing and spluttering next to her :)
Damn FPL cut off point caught me out again, no idea what team I've got playing today?

Woohoo, hopefully a good mix of Palace and Fulham. might be able to pull back my midweek error ;)

  10. Paul, just about got away with it on FPL cost me about 8 points.
Had planned on bringing McGregor in for Vorm and leaving Szczshny on the bench.
Those 2 very late goals in the City Arsenal game did you a big favour :(

  11. Gobby I'm gonna go for it :) hopefully I can get one of my kids to come along so 2 tickets if they're still available. Mind you if West Ham play like they did today it's not going to be a pleasure :(

  15. Was a bit gutted as I put the scores in, found out I'd gone for the same score as Paulo in 4 games and 3 of those were spot on. Usually 12 points is a healthy lead :)
Just worked out the possibles and if Longy get 3 out of 3 today he will tie with Paulo on 16 and I'll miss out with 15 ... that would be quite a week :)

  16. One game to go and it's still alive ... just :)
    Paulo 14, Lee 12, Longy 11, Gobshyte 8, Paul 6, Biopunk 2
    I need a 1-1 draw but any other result and it's Paulo's

  17. My internet connection has gone really flaky this afternoon? online/offline/online etc :(
So I'll get this in quick.

    Day 2 Final Scores -
    Paulo 15, Lee 12, Longy 11, Gobshyte 9, Paul 6, Biopunk 3

Congratulations Paulo again, hope you did that combi bet (avoiding blind loyalty to the irons) if you did I guess your a rich man :) 3 x 3 Pointers, 6 x 1 Pointers and West Ham :(

Spuds v Scouses always a difficult game for me as I hate them both equally, I have mellowed slightly and I was cheering when the cannibal scored due to my fanatasy footie teams, really didn't think the Spuds could be that bad yet again? I reckon AVB has just taken Fat Sam's place in the dole queue.
