Premier Predictions (Week 01)

It's time for the Premier League again.
Premier Predictions 2019-20 is up and running.

Premier league is back on Friday, the first of many re-arranged games this season with all the different TV companies grabbing a handful.
As far as I can see Sky have the majority on Friday through to Monday, BT have the Saturday lunchtime games, and Amazon have got all the midweek (Tuesday to Thursday) games.

T&C's - Usual rules apply
3 Points for a correct score, 1 Point for a correct result.
Predictions League will be decided on weekly wins first, if 2 or more people share a weekly win that will be classed as a draw, if at the end things are still level the toal points for the season come into play.
Predictions in the comments please :)

Hopefully the regular players will be back and anyone reading this blog is welcome to join in at any point, just let me know a name and club supported.
Obviously predictions will only count if they are made before the kick offs, please try and post the whole set at once but I won't enforce it as these Friday night games catch everyone out including me.

Prizes - Not much!! just a picture of a Trophy and the admiration of everyone who plays 😎

First set - Friday 9th to Sunday 11th

Liverpool v Norwich
West Ham v Man City
Bournemouth v Sheff Utd
Burnley v Southampton
Crystal Palace v Everton
Watford v Brighton
Tottenham v Aston Villa
Leicester v Wolves
Newcastle v Arsenal
Man Utd v Chelsea

It's also the European Super Duper Cup on Wednesday in Istanbul, and it looks like Chelsea have been screwed over as they have to play away to Man Utd at 4:30pm on Sunday when Liverpool's game was brought forward to Friday?

Good Luck All πŸ˜ƒ

  7. Weird game, Norwich look superb going forward but can't defend.
4-0 at half time doesn't seem fair, Norwich will have to learn to park the bus.

One bright spot Alison got injured and Adrian is on at Anfield 3 months after being shown the door by West Ham, I liked him.

  8. Oops VAR has broken down at half time :D

  9. Early days, but I've still got it! ;)

  10. Everyone gets their first points of the season, Biopunk gets 3.
4-1 didn't look likely at half time, but well done to Norwich for adapting their game after the break.

    Day 1 Scores (1 Game)
    Biopunk 3, Gibbo 1, Lee 1, Paul 1, Paulo 1, (Lawro 1, Helen 1, Jo 1)

  11. Lee schoolboy error you forgot to post in your own competition!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  12. Hmmm....
At half time we were unlucky to go in a goal down, and for 75 minutes I thought we played pretty well, not forgetting this is Man City the best team in England and they always thrash us.
Ran out of steam at the end and 5-0 looks horrendous, V.A.R made it's bow and was correct each time, nice that an offside goal against was ruled out for the first time in years but it didn't matter in the end.
The penalty retake was annoying but correct in the rules as long as it is applied uniformly.
If we lose to Brighton and Watford I'll be worried, but I think we showed enough to be positive about the rest of the season?

    Point for everyone again.

  16. Good ending, me and Paulo are out :(
The others are all tied on 8.
Bio and Gibbo need a Chelsea win, Paul is praying for Man Utd to win hehe :D
A draw means it's a 3 way tie with Lawro winning overall
