Seems a bit odd to do it on the eve of their match with Man U, but obviously the new owners are hoping that by appointing Kenny Dalgish it will inspire the team to perform tomorrow?
Dalglish last managed Liverpool 20 years ago but you can't help thinking whoever fills this job permanently needs a complete new team Gerrard, Torres and Reina might be great players but they must all be looking elsewhere for a team likely to win something.
