I hear Liverpool are considering letting injury prone striker Fernando Torres go to Chelsea in exchange for £50 million quid or possibly about £40 million plus sulky frenchman Anelka?
Liverpool must be feeling a bit sick after agreeing a deal to bring Cannibal Suarez to Anfield then finding out Torres can't wait to get away rather than play with him?
Chelsea obviously hope that Torres will be fit enough to cover malaria stricken Drogba for some of the remaining games, but trying to offload Sturridge and possibly Anelka won't do much for their confidence if both stay.
Torres is never worth 50 Mil. Personally,I'd rather we signed Aguero. Can't see us getting either to be honest but it was interesting to note Sturridge wasn't even on the bench yesterday.
ReplyDeleteDarren Bent would have been a better buy? can't believe they offered Sturridge as part of the deal as I reckon if he got a run in the team he could be very good (but what do I know) :)
ReplyDeleteNot much lol Bolton got a good striker on loan tonight! Not a lot else happened though :-)
