What's Happening?

Currently watching West Ham being taken apart by Arsenal :(
No Parker and Noble injured early on means it doesn't look good for the second half.
Anyway what is going on with the Hammers manager situation? reports seem to suggest that Martin O'Neill is the new Hammers manager yet Grant is still there? if it's true why on earth would you keep him there for such an important game when he's out of the job whatever the result, just do the decent thing and sack him.
But as we saw with Zola, Sullivan and Gold seem to do anything but the decent thing as far as managers are concerned.
If it is to be Martin O'Neill I would be happy as he was the only one of the names mentioned that I actually like, but last week he was supposed to have ruled himself out of the job so I don't know.
Hopefully whoever takes over will keep faith with the young talent coming through like Sears, Hines, Collison, Tomkins etc and not buy a load of dodgy foreigners for short term success.

  1. 0-3 :(
Never looked like scoring and totally lacking in ideas, the passing was awful.
Probably time to say goodbye to Kovac, Upson, Boa Morte, Faubert and if that's as good as Bridge gets it's no wonder no-one wants him.

  2. Looks like it's curtains for Grant (and bad very bad news for Chelsea!)

If I was a Hammer I'd be happy to see Grant go. It is your only chance of staying up imo.

  3. I'd be happy for Grant to go as I never wanted him in the first place, but it's just becoming "Eastenders 2" a crap soap opera.
If they thought Grant was the man then they should have backed him instead of this daily "will he stay or will he go" shite that appears.
Martin O'Neill (if it's true) is a great signing as he is still being linked with being Fergie's eventual replacement and a possible England manager and won't want to screw up his value by being shit at West Ham.
